  • How do you prepare a dog to perform in front of an audience?

  • @rutsableich You do training & practice in a place with distractions similar to those of a live audience, ie. noisy crowds, children, other dogs, food, balloons, etc. . Start in place with smaller/lesser distractions (eg. carpark at quieter time) and gradually work up to busier locations (eg, downtown square on weekend). Most dogs are only trained in one place and never get "proofed" to distractions.
