spent about 25-30 hours helping sandbagging houses and evacuating people in glen abbey on pine valley. too bad you didn't get a shot there... it was really bad. (note: if you were there i was the guy in the military uniform running things)
i was there, i remember seeing you actually haha. it was just really hard to get to and people kept tellin me to leave cause i had a camera. i was also running out of gas in my car so i had to leave and go fuel up anyhoo. I just tried to get as much as i could. I actually wish i went back and got more but im just a wuss i guess :/ Next time im going all out journalist on it though :)
Also our thanks to you for posting it. I have elderly parents on the upper end of Adelaide St. flooded out and they were out of town when it all hit. Stunning images, thanks. Something has to be done and the City of DeBary was asleep at the wheel on this one-
I'm very sorry to hear about your parents house, also i agree completely with you. Debary should've learned last year to try and clean out some of the drainage system's in the neighboorhood because there all mostly filled with dirt so their not gonna flow the water away as well as they should. I guess that's just what we have to deal with i guess :(
Thanks for posting this, I live in Boston but my sister lives in Glen Abbey on Adelaide St. & my son is down there visiting. They have no internet access so she hasn't been able to send me pics or videos. I pray her house doesn't get flooded.
No problem :) It's true the area near Adelaide St. is pretty bad but i think only the side near the exit is pretty bad but i haven't seen most of it so I don't know for sure. I'll pray that there ok though :)

Which streets are those which are most flooded?
RonQE 3 years ago
Adelaide and the connecting streets were very bad, but most of the stuff I filmed was along the main road of the development and Pine Meadow Dr.

Thanks. Hope things have dried out for you there now.
