  • This song sounds familiar. Was it an op or ending theme in an anime?

  • @ReiraRyugamine Bleach ED, Season 1

  • @ReiraRyugamine It was an ending

  • Rie Fu is actually tri-lingual, Japanese, English, and French. I admire people like her, Utada, and Kwon BoA...who actually think in more than one language. It is very different from just knowing a language.

  • @ShikataGaNai100 Most people are actually bilingual. They're mother tongue and English.

  • @zamm0rock Uh...what?

  • she should come back to MD to do a concert

  • @jmaster876 Yes, yes she should.

  • I love ya :3

  • Check out the magnificent Portuguese version Erikon Souza's voice through this User vinicius5308 or link to be completed next! Thank youtube.com/watch?v=xaoiKcb77Bo&feature=related

  • her voice is amazing you can even fall in love with her(voice) only by listening to this song

  • I love this song. Watch me play it on the piano by going to my page :) If you like it, thumbs up so everyone else can see!!

  • It's funny because she actually lived in London, not the U.S.

  • @PandaCath Actually, she was born in Japan. Then she and her family lived in the state of Maryland. She lived there for a long time during her childhood. When she got older, she went to England for college. So she lived there for a short while. Now she is back in her homeland of Japan. But she loves all three countries equally.

  • her voice is perfect..

  • watch and see the version Brazilian non-profit, fan dub music in this User: "vinicius 5308"

  • I know this is bleach but what ending is it? Or ost?

  • @Acdeportivo2 It the first Bleach ending theme.

  • @tmsword314 oh thanks i found it...i dint know this was an ending theme, when ever bleach was over i swtich the channel..but really thanks

  • this is a puachtur i can tell becuas nothing is mioveing

  • @MySoifong holy hell! your "american" is perfect!!!

  • @clairlabolle

Maybe thats just her unique vibrato...

  • I don't usually get involved in the comments like this, but I'd like to point a few things out. Rie Fu and Utada Hikaru both spent a significant portion of their formative years residing in English-speaking countries. It's no surprise, then, that their accents are minimal when speaking English. It's not racist to point out that someone has an accent--just to make fun of it. You'd have an accent if you spoke Japanese, and a Japanese person would notice it.

  • @whytecleric ...and, Kown BoA is trifluent...Korean, Japanese, and English. Her Korean and Japanese are native fluent...and she is getting much better in English. Utada was born in New York City...and is the best bi-lingual native speaker I have ever heard. She actually THINKS in both languages. You make an excellent point.

  • im not sure if her voice suits english or japanese more, i think english but im not sure anymore

  • I love this song. I used this song in one of my video's.

  • God this song is so beautiful!!

  • she sounds sooooo american! its scary 0_o

  • @thirdyearronin my point is that most asian singers ive heard have an accent when they sing in english. a lot of asians have accents when they speak english too, so to hear a native japanese singing in english without the slightest hint of an accent, blows my mind.

  • @fullmetalaang96 u do realize that's stereotyping, right?

  • @thirdyearronin im sorry, i didnt know i was stereotyping, im just going off of what i heard, to be honest i dont have anything against asians at all, and i apologize if it came out that way.

  • @fullmetalaang96 not that i'm offended or anything, but my point is, someone being able to speak fluently in a language different from their native tongue shouldnt be a surprise to anyone. of course it depends on where the person grew up, but HOW they grew up and their influences can also affect whether or not they have an accent.. the world of today is very diverse

  • @thirdyearronin thats a good point. i just dont hear many japanese singers that sound that american, thats all, but i see what youre saying.

  • @fullmetalaang96 utada hikaru simple and clean english

  • @thirdyearronin What's "asian" sound like ?

  • Someone made a AMV with this song and they called it a "Fandub" and someone said that it was English Rukia's voice actor who sang... so ignorant^^

point being... i like this song^^

  • In fact it is mainly because she had exposure to the American English as child that laid the foundations for her flawless accent. It does not matter whether you master the vocab, its the exposure that counts especially during childhood when knowledge is more readily absorb. Studying in London probably just perfected her English.

  • actually she studied at the university of London, which would have contributed to her level of English. Spending a short time as a kid in USA would hardly have contributed to her knowledge, no way she could have acquired that much vocabulary and mastery. Anyway not intending this to be an argument regardless of where she studied the song is awesome, her other stuff is really nice too.

  • **Meant to say at a university in London

  • i HEARD A MISTAKE!!! BUT yet She still glided through it so elegantly :]

  • 100% AWESOME

  • i first herd this song on the anime bleach it was the ending as soon as i heard id it i said i have to get this song it was awsome lil did i know that i whould fall in love with all her music she is siple wonderful an i hope she keeps making sons for a long long time. MUCH LOVE RIE FU

  • @blackm00n5 then that would make me sad aswell so no =P

  • @blackm00n5 hey i do too i dont think its sad

  • @blackm00n5 That's not sad, that's awesome. I do too! ^_^

  • OOPS! 4 people accidently hit the dislike button! :D

I know the first 2 minutes and 12 seconds to this song! :)

    Roughly

    Plus the english!

  • Why is her english so perfect? o.o

  • @x3R4v3r

Because she spent 3 years living in the US.

  • @pissofglory WHEN!!? I would think she'd have an accent or something. x] Cause my sister is from Vietnam and her English sucks ASS. -.-;; xD But they're from 2 different countries so. NVM! xD

  • @x3R4v3r

She came to the US when she was 7 in 1992 then went back to Japan when she was 10 in 1995

  • @x3R4v3r because her mother tongue is obviously english

There are more and more ABCs coming to Asia to start their music career, don't know why.

  • @x3R4v3r

As a child she lived for three years in the United States with her parents. The effect of residence in the United States is the fact that her English is flawless, which often can be heard in her songs.

  • i so love this

  • I LOOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • @phine0789 and its a pic of her playing guitar xD It should at the very least be a pic of her playing piano, lol.

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful voice. I will see her live before I die too!

  • She learned Japanese so quick after moving back to Japan from USA

  • she can speak english very well for being japenese

  • @lilmikey20091 I heard she lives in Canada?

  • @lilmikey20091 Unlike more Japanese people, she got to live in the US and finish her education in the UK.

  • @lilmikey20091
