I remember when this was on originally. Richie and Jon did a bunch of them, not all aired, though. MTV started the unplugged series a year following. Everyone was talking about it the next day. Give Jon and Richie some credit for starting this whole sound; not to mention jam sessions on stage with other bands!!

Jon always said that MTV
should have at least acknowledged
that they vamp'd the idea for Unplugged from that.

I was there!! I was 13 years old. They also sang Livin on a prayer, hope i can see that again soon, only been waiting to see this again for nearly 20 years, i was up the front and i remmember i was in shot, and i got to rub Richies leg.
