if you're working with a stereo track, just wait until you've tracked vocals and you're ready to mix to worry about EQ'ing the track. the object is to get the vox to sit in the mix. if you're track has some serious EQ probs from the get go, then fix them. otherwise, you might as well wait. you'll be EQing the track twice if you don't.

fruity loops is really easy to use...but you lose real freedom in a lot of areas mixing wise...I like protools or even adobe audition...in any case, you're going to have to familiarize yourself with the software which is a pain in the ass, but once you figure shit out, youll be good to go =D good luck!!

Yes bruv, adobe audtion is heavy. I use it to mix all my vocal tracks and mix all beats on Logic Pro. Adobe audition all day.

no it jus stops you from breathin on the mic to loud, spit when rappin/singing, stopping the pa sound when you pronounce your p's and other stuff

the pop filter is used to filter out or reduce the sound of all those words that pop out when recording.,.thats why its called a popfilter its used for words that contains P's and T's..
