Adbrite is adware. My SpywareBlaster blacklists it.

Do you get warnings when found in cookies. I don't know much about adbrite and if they turned evil but that is doubtfull. I think the reason that your spyware program is warning about it is because if many website uses ads from adbrite they can track you.
It is as if you where to put an image let say banana.gif on your server but many people likes your banana (I mean the fruit) then they hot link to it thus meaning that you can see how many people view your banana.
