Yeah Skype's awesome! Social networking sites are rubbish - why can't you just arrange to meet your friends in real life or have a phone chat with them? And Skype's free so you can call someone in a different country and it won't cost you anything! My friends always like to keep me up-to-date with exactly how many friends they have on Facebook, it's like some kind of competition to see who can get the most.
