  • labour have raised taxes over the last 13 years to fund their social underclass voters what a joke harperson is , only chavs vote labour

  • The tories are borrowing more money than the Labour party.

  • HH is going to be hanged.

  • @karezza6 OH SO ITS A COINCIDENCE THAT THE COUNTRY IS FALLING APART AS SOON AS THE TORIES ARE IN POWER.LOOK HOW MUCH COVERAGE THE RIOTS HAVE GOT IN THE MEDIA, COMPARED TO THOSE LEGITIMATE PROTESTS TAKING PLACE. GOVE IS A JOKER. IF THIS GUY REPRESENTS THE CONSERVATIVE FUTURE I PREDICT WORST PROBLEMS IN THE FUTURE, WORSE THAN EVER BEFORE...LETS HOPE NOT.

  • @sugarraygras

Don't blame the Conservatives for trying to sort out the Labour mess. The Labour Party always leaves the country in a mess.

  • @karezza6t Your Conservative heroes will solve nothing, as they are too busy trying to sell the parts of the country off to foreign investers, that they didn't have time to flog off the last time they dragged the nation through the dirt. You are ignorant of the facts. We have a right wing media that has filled your little mind with nonsense. Check the stats before forming your opinions. Tories are borrowing much more money than Labour.FACT.What they are spending it on remains a mystery.

  • That traitor bitch should be broken on the wheel then tied down to have her eyes pecked out by the birds..the way the French used to deal with their traitors..both her and Blair

  • @aeronuk1 and then you

  • Am I the only guy thinking I wouldn't say no.

  • @zopyify If you ever get the chance, make it as uncomfortable for her as possible.

  • Two tosspots for the price of one. Newsnight is always good value! Gove looked like he was going to have a heart attack at 6:20. Ha Ha!

  • She's related to David Cameron, you know.

And I thought I had awkward family Christmases...

  • Harriet is the niece of Lord Longford. He spent a lot of his time excusing the crimes of Myra Hindley. Runs in the family I guess.

  • Interesting how a clip you post claiming Grove defeated Harman i saw as just another fat faced conservative who doesn't listen and can only understand the wold in black and white. he was like a child with his fingers in his ears going NO THERE IS NOT GRAY THERE IS NO GRAY. Also are you not able to think beyond the tory / labor political dichotomy - in fact there is very little between them they are both (and now lib dems too) more willing to demonize than understand.

  • @SpacetoBreath Gove is an Odious little man.

  • @sugarraygras

Flooding comments will not make you less wrong.

  • Harriet Harperson understands us i love u fuck it lol but fuck Michael Gove

  • Gove fired his lazer :L

  • Both these people are unbearable cretins really. But I'd drown Gove first.

  • Nu labour believed that manufacturing was dead and left the working class to become the underclass they promised everyone a high paid job in the civil service and bankrupted the nation!!

  • Hideous fucking cow.

    My kingdom for a sniper.

May labour NEVER be in power again.

    TRAITORS.

  • @Octavius0 you idiot.

  • Hahahah, I love Gove's face from 2:12 to 2:20. He's clearly thinking "Please, just shut the fuck up"

  • "It was mostly young people who were being terrorized by other young people" - huh? What is she talking about?

Proof that an expensive education can't compensate for a lack of intelligence (Harriet Harman, St. Paul’s School For Girls; fees nearly £19,000 per year)

  • fatuous, fatuous woman

  • Loved that. Harriet Harman is a poor advert for women in Parliament

  • For the Labour party it’s all about always blaming others for any criminal actions you take. It’s never the criminals fault its always someone else.

  • tories need to actually look at the causes they propose for the riots. if they are caused by 'greed', how can you lay the blame on new labour when thatcher and major introduced this culture of selfishness and materialism to britain in the first place?

gove is simply trying to stamp out any kind of debate. what does he expect the opposition to do, agree with everything the govt says? the conservatives are terrified of people analysing the causes of the riots, and it shows in his fury here.

  • @bobzilla211 they've been in power for 14 months. Labour were in power for 14 years. This is the legacy of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown

  • Do they not teach people how to debate properly in the Labour party? I was always taught it was rude to cut across other people when they are talking during a debate.

  • the entitlement mentality with the neverending wars is a no win

  • These animals were raised in homes where they never saw either parent leave the house to go to work. They have no work ethic, sit on their ass and expect more handouts. Their big dream is more entitlements. They don't respect the work or property of others, because they have no respect for themselves. It is a liberal mindset that caused this. These animals should be shot to show them that the behavior is unacceptable.

All who were charged should have all government freebies taken away for life.

  • He should have told her..."now shut up and go make me a sandwich"!

  • @gunloc26 How come? Care to explain?

  • Oh dear! As if Labour didn't have enough problems with "The Wrong Milliband"!

  • Threw away *

  • Might just be me, but as someone who has been drastically hit by the slice of youth opportunities being through away, I feel most people who couldn't see a link speak from an unaffected view. Don't get me wrong, I'm currently disgusted with the way the past week has gone about, and think this is not the answer. But I can relate to and also imagine that maybe some - Not all, some - may have done this out of frustration and the thought that "everyone else is". The matter is, these are a small num

  • This corrupt political class must go.

Things will never get better while the corruption continues.

    Things must change.

  • With tory parties come riots its like 1985 all over again

  • some one please put a brick through her house she might as well put up camp in edd milabands ballsack

  • @buttersnom95 You should learn how to spell.

  • You have completely misunderstood the point. Young people feel confined to a future of unemployment, debt and poor social-mobility. All parties have to take a share of the blame here, because it is true that Labour create a culture of entitlement, but the speed at which the Tories have removed everything that was in place to help young people could only ever have led to something like this. The Right need to understand the difference between an excuse and a reason.

  • for sure it was wrong, but the difference in the way these two people are treated is amazing........and then MIchael Gove says do not look at reasons as trying to understand is to condone ( tell that to any historian who tries to understand the rise of fascism for example) perhaps the teaching assistant copied your greed Michael gove

  • Michael Gove illegitimately claims 7000 pounds of tax payers money on his expenses for furniture......he had to pay it back, kept his career and faced no criminal charges. A teaching assistant is caught n a shop, no suggestion he actually broke in, threw rocks, used violence, just got caught up in the moment and enteredthe shop during a riot, faces losing his job and a prison sentence having been charged with burglary. For sure the teaching assistant should not have done it,

  • british with their history of brutality and leeching on other countries (eg genocidal empire ) now taken to leeching and brutalizing each other;. now that they fail at leeching of others and only succeed in senseless killing (eg iraq, libya where nato killed 85 civilians in tuesday with 30+ children )

  • @LiarPoliticians

No greed is when the banks steal billions from tax payers money and horde it for themselves this was not creed i agree with harriet it is major cuts and new laws that make the country worser and that prick michael needs shut the fuck up.

  • "The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.

To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it.

To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job." Douglas Adams

  • Gove made a right tit of himself - I love watching the chinless wonder going into meltdown. I do hope the Tories keep him in situ as it were. He's Labour's greatest weapon. Harman wasn't trying to justify the riots you fucking stupid bastards. To explain the why of a thing is not saying you like it or condone it. Everyone on here who thinks that that is what she was doing clearly mistake picking their arse and wiping the results over a comment box for critical thinking.

  • @BFKate Could not agree more.

  • How the fuck can she try to justify the riots, stick here above a shop that was torched, stick her on a street being smashed in by thugs mugging everyone around them.

  • Gove is a scumbag

  • I hate her she should die

  • Political leaders are not moral leaders......though they fancy they are. Church leaders in the name of Christ God Himself are moral leaders. They have been ignored. Now the price must be paid. CATHOLIC STATE please!

  • She doesn't give a toss about the victims or rioters just an opportinuty to point score. Under whose watch did the country start falling apart not the current goverment but the her party who spend and spend and spend and left nothing left in our reserves.

  • Bitch.

  • the reason they were rioting was simple, there was none. meaning they had nothing to risk to stop them from rioting. they had no school, college or jobs to go to or even see a clear path to aim for it. i was saying this 7 years ago when i was a 16 year old camberwell kid and i didnt know they cut EMA. i wouldnt have had an education without that. maybe these ones are thugs but ones that arnt are going to suffer hard in the next 2-3 years.

  • Harperson?

  • Harriet harman was right, anyone that thinks gove is right is a robot.

  • @ragemidnight

Anyone that is on Harriet Harman's side can continue the demise of this country.

  • Harriet Harman doesn't deserve to live.

  • THERES ONLY OOONNNNEEEE MICHAEL GOVE!!!! XD

  • Harman owned the blustering twat.

  • The hypocrisy of Gove is stunning. There he is condemning looters, when he was looting taxpayers to the tune of £7000 to pay for his second home. So much for moral leadership...

  • @irh196 Harman wanted to keep the MPs expenses confidential. Had she had her way then all the MPs would have got away with their outrageous expenses. Would you prefer that to allowing Gove (who is by no means exceptional in his expenses claims) have the means to do his job. And if he ever does step out of line then he'll be nailed to the wall for it. But that would never happen if Harman had anything to do with it.

  • @016whi Sure, I'm not defending Harman. Gove has plenty of means to do his job - £65,738 - without resorting to looting the taxpayer by fiddling the expenses system. The guy is a blustering hypocrite.

  • Gove still looks and sounds like a fucking ventriloquist's dummy.

  • Gove flogs a straw man - he's just blathering and it shows how weak he is. Of course Harman doesn't justify the rioting and looting, in fact quite the opposite. Explanation isn't justification. His government's policies are deeply irresponsible and have exacerbated the problem of inequality and poverty in London.

  • The whole capitalist system is in the shit. Stocks are plunging. The banks are fucked and being bailed out to the tune of trillions. Unemployment is going through the roof. The US still spends billions for 2 failed military occupations. More body bags and maimed soldiers. What a fucking disaster. But the rich have still got their snouts in the trough.

“There’s class warfare, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.” - Warren Buffett

  • Harman is right - there's a broader social context underlying these riots. Why the hell are the Tories closing youth centres and job centres, cutting EMA, attacking social services?

  • We have the same idiot leftists in the US saying the same crap - if you cut ANYTHING, the world will end, the planet will be destroyed. Disgusting!

  • Where does shite education come from? Comprehensive egalitarian education system that has failed the working class.

You equate poverty with the problems, complete b.s there are plenty of people in 'relative' poverty and they've gone down a different path in life.

It's all about 'choices' in life - self reliance is a term that just doesn't enter some people's heads.

  • Why are rioters costing people money?

Maybe because money is the only thing the UK government cares about?

  • I got to side with the tories here. Come on! Talk about out of touch with what's happening. The public knows exactly what's going on. People aren't rioting for political grievances, cuts and tuition fees. They're having a great time! Interviews, videos and sheer way the rioters do their business show this. Most of the rioters can't even name the prime minister let alone care about £30 a week to study. Solution: create GTA 5 with better graphics. Recreational vandalism is all it is!

  • @dadada486 ......idiot

  • There r no excuses that can justify for what's happening!

  • Another example from history people say manufacturing in the UK has been destroyed by the tories.

It declined by around 3-4% under Thatcher and when labour came to power it was >20% of GDP

On leaving office it was around 11% of GDP - a bigger decline than under Thatcher. But we're told how this is all the tories fault.

People really, really need to see through the shit.

  • @aerozeppelin2 Because Labour, in order to get elected, went more to the right and began to pursue almost Thatcherite policies, continuing the damage. There became almost no difference between them after 1997. Where've you been?

  • @aerozeppelin2 Harriet WHO????? stupid woman.

  • Shameful events for this country, In Syria and elsewhere people are risking their lives for freedom. Here they exploit their freedom for size 9 designer footware! We are now reaping what we've sown over the last 40 years. Hopefully this will be a turning point, but with politicians like Harriet I doubt it.

  • History lesson for you:

Every time labour have left power they have increased the debt, left economic instability and left higher unemployment.

The tories always inherit an awful situation, classic example being the 'winter of discontent' 'the sick man of Europe' and inflation at close to 20% - you see context matters, easy to blame 'fatcher' when you have to stare reality in the face.

People say there's a riot because of cuts (which is bollocks) buy why are there cuts? Use your fuckin brain

  • @aerozeppelin2 There are cuts because we have to bail out the banks and the whole incredibly unstable system of finance capitalism which has been built up under the last thirty years under both parties along with lack of investment in infrastructure and deliberate killing of industry. Stop pretending there's that much difference between Labour and the Tories anymore. Do you know how many millionaires and friends of millionaires there are in this coalition govenment? Do you think theyll be

  • @blackmichael75 Do you know how many members of the Labour front bench are millionaires (ie Harman) or friends of millionaires? Thats without mentioning Yvette Cooper and Ed Balls screwing the taxpayer with the expenses shit, or the links to News International, or the irresponsible fiscal mismangement et al.....Yes all politicians are self serving, but Labour and the Left in general are a hypocritical disgrace.

  • @sparkyvid Um, that was exactly the point I was making. And I dunno about "the Left in general", that's a pretty broad spectrum. You're fooling yourself if you think that Labour are in any way "Left" anymore.

  • @blackmichael75 Good point, that is probably why so many people have become disillusioned with UK politics, every party is scrapping for the centre ground and there is no distinction anymore......In regards to the Labour front bench's wealth I just wanted to emphasise the point they are massive hypocrites

  • @sparkyvid I think you're right. Please don't mistake me for a Labour supporter. I've only ever voted once, in 1997, and I regretted it.

  • @aerozeppelin2 taking a cut?

  • @MangoBodyButter89

Ok, so if people are responsible only for themselves, then it is justified in people looting and taking things from others by force. Socialism didn't teach kids to want things without working for them, the royal family did.

  • WOW SO THE TORIES HAVE A RIOT AND IT IS BLAMED ON LABOUR . HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

  • @zzxzqwq You have the memory of a gold fish? please read my comment a few times.

  • @suroj Ypu are a low iq bore. No doubt racism and nazi values are all you think of. It is the tories who want to cut taxes for the rich. .

  • @zzxzqwq You dumbass.. I'm British Indian..Making assumptions about me from one comment? That's pretty dumb..

Labour had been in power for 13 years, the Conservatives, not even a year. Even a child could figure this one out. EVEN A CHILD COULD FIGURE THIS ONE OUT. (Caps for the win)

  • @suroj The tories have been in power FOR MORE THAN A YEAR NOW. EVEN A CHILD COULD WORK THAT ONE OUT. YOU ARE BLAMING LABOUR FOR THE TORIES MESS. A BRITISH INDIAN CAN STILL BE A RACE TRAITOR. .

  • @zzxzqwq

Massive social problems such as the riots we are seeing now take DECADES to develop. NOT ONE FUCKING YEAR. If anything, every one of the 3 main parties are to blame for this, the riots have been caused by DECADES of failed social policies from both Labour and the Conservatives (with the Lib Dems cheering from the sidelines).

Don't believe me? Then go read the Winston Smith blog, written by a social worker who's been documenting the collapse of British society (google it).

  • @KaMiK2205 These riots happened under tory rule. Just like the last era of riots did. We have a mayor who wants to cut taxes for the rich while the poor get poorer. Police cuts mean the police cannnot control society as they should. I knew riots would happen under Boris I like him but he is not up to being mayor.

  • @zzxzqwq

Shall I put things real fucking simple so you can understand?

These rioters and looters are nothing but spoilt greedy brats with an enormous sense of self entitlement. They've been spoilt by decades of overly generous welfare, non-judgemental relativist social policies and a softly softly approach by the justice system.

  • @zzxzqwq

They've been taught that they don't have to take responsibility or earn a living for themselves as the state will provide for them. And now, like a badly behaved child throwing a tantrum when its toys are taken away, they're rioting and TAKING what they want by force.

For the second time, go read Winston Smith's blog. Hes a social worker who has been writing about the steady collapse of British society for the last decade and a half.

  • @KaMiK2205 I have already read the blog and it just seemed cynical with no answers. This was a riot under tory rule why did the last era of riots happen under tory rule? It is the tories fault. Face it. I knew Boris would cause riots. I nottice you say the collapse of briitsh society under the last decade and a half which just happens to be when labour was in power. So in other words you are blaming tory riots on labour. No doubt you are a right winger excusi ng the right wing.

  • @zzxzqwq

And no doubt you're a left winger excusing the left wing. In case you havn't noticed, we havn't had a right wing government since Thatcher. Cameron liberalised the Tory party - thats why he and the Lib Dems get on so well.

and in any case, I did not say that British society started to collapse 15 years ago with labour - I said W. Smith has been WRITING ABOUT IT for the last 15 years, because he became a Social worker about that time. It began DECADES AGO.

  • @KaMiK2205 I hate social workers like you. People need people who can help them not some hate filled monster who despises the people he is meant to help. You are Winston. It does not take a rocket scientist to work that out,

When i was unemployed i got your type trying to take out their frustrations on me rather than trying to hekl me which is what they were supposed to be PAID to do.

YOU HAVE A JOB THAT YOU DON'T DO.

And I never said i supported the riots i said they were evil.

  • @zzxzqwq

Social worker? When the hell did I say I was a social worker? I AM NOT WINSTON SMITH. I'm a 20 year old full time student at a northern england university. Stop employing Ad Hominem to discredit people who contradict you.

  • @zzxzqwq

And frankly, in times like these, its hard not to be cynical when CHILDREN are rioting in the streets of several british cities on a massive scale, looting, committing arson, mugging, committing MURDER(3 asians defending a shop in birmingham were ran over by a hit & run driver).

And the icing on the cake, moral relativists like you trying to justify their actions.

  • @KaMiK2205

When i said you are straw man i am saying you are making up what the other sides belives i never sad i supported the riots i said they happened under tory rule not labour rule you liar. Rich coming from a socal worker whose answer is to hate the people he is supposed to help. You are a con artist. Why do the government pay you when you are so incompetent,

  • @zzxzqwq

Again, I am NOT a social worker. I'm a STUDENT.

Labours answer to a self entitled greedy and selfish underclass of feral children rioting, looting, torching, mugging and murdering would be to throw more money at the problem in the form of welfare and politically correct crap.

  • @KaMiK2205 So you are a student funded by the government complaining about welfare claimants, The Real Labour answer would be subsidised work to cut unemployment and to fund the police to deal with these issues. It is the rich who should be taxed more to stop inequality. Rather thaan free market extremism crap.

  • @zzxzqwq

Oh I've finally gotten through to you have I? What happened to "you're clearly Winstom Smith, its not rocket science". And again, I havn't said a damn thing about free markets, taxes or the rich. I'm talking about labour and the tories. They are BOTH to blame for this.

In a more rational conversation, I might even agree with you. Its your blinkered holier than though attitude, and blind partisan tribalistic support for labour that I'm taking issue with.

  • Comment removed

  • @zzxzqwq

btw I should make it clear that as a student I am only receiving the basic student finance loans, no grants. Before you try to to use that to discredit me too.

  • @zzxzqwq

Rich to be taxed more and with that 'subsidised work to cut unemployment'

And you think this is the answer to our problems? You think slapping a nice 70p on the top rate or 80/90/99p will sort it?

Do you have any idea how daft that policy is, in a World that is more Globalised do you seriously think that will attract inward investment i.e. jobs. Do you think that will increase the tax take i.e. tax avoidance?

You are just another envious lefty with no understanding of economics.

  • @zzxzqwq

Oh, and its a bit rich you accusing me of being a straw man when you're trying to extrapolate an entire set of opinions on a wide range of subjects on which I have said nothing. Not to mention the fact that you think I'm a cynical and disillusioned social worker getting paid a fortune for a job which I'm not doing and writing a blog to share my so called right wing extreme free market views.

    Hypocrite.

  • @KaMiK2205 Your free market extremism causes unemployment, poverty and inequality, we should increase taxes on the rich and provide jobs for people.

Your soloution is cut benfit and let people rot in poverty. I know that is your solution and you believe every unemployed perosn is evil.

  • @zzxzqwq

You're making my opinions up for me. Did I say anything about free markets? Taxes? No I did not.

And how can you say that people who are carrying out organised riots using Blackberries, mobile phones, facebook and twitter are living in poverty? This is NOT poverty. You want to see ral poverty, go somewhere like India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Romania, South America.

  • @KaMiK2205 You are a right wing extremist whose argument is to increase poverty and inequality and to regard all the poor as lazy scum. You are useless at your job you are paid a fortune to do.

  • @zzxzqwq

I'm a 20 year old university student. I know you've lost the argument now, because you don't even know who you are arguing against.

And if believing in the rule of law makes me a right wing extremist, what does that make you? An anarchist? If I'm a right wing extremist, its only through reading the blogs of police officers, social workers, teachers.

These riots are as much Labour's fault as they are the tories.

  • @zzxzqwq You know a socialist is in trouble when he resorts to calling people 'right wing extremists'. Give it up zz your time has come!

  • @98smithg You are a right wing extremist. The right want more riots and poverty.

  • You should be ashamed of yourself, making excuses for these animals and trying to make petty partisan point scoring. People have been MURDERED. Homes and businesses have been torched. Law abiding people's lives ruined in an instant, all because these scum, these animals decided to TAKE what they want.

  • @KaMiK2205 Straw man bull shit. I never said i supported the riots or murder. I said the riots happened under the tories and never happened under labour. Those are the FACTS.

Now why did the riots happen under the tories?

Why is it OK for you to blame the riots on labour. when they have happened under tory government you straw man bull shitter.

  • @zzxzqwq I know I can't convince you, so see for yourself. America is doing what labour would, Obama raised the debt ceiling, which is the same thing labour would do. Watch over the next 10 years what happens in america. Britain is taking the hit now, that's why we have these riots. America will have their riots later and they'll be a lot worse for it.

  • @doford

But that's all the labour policy is 'deferring the pain' not 'eliminating the pain' just doing it tomorrow instead of today. What happens in that time? The deficit shrinks more slowly and with that the debt increases, therefore increasing the long-term damage to the UK.

Britain has in recent days had lower borrowing costs than GERMANY. That is ASTONISHING considering they have a structural surplus because in the boom they increased PRODUCTIVITY and restrained spending, unlike labour..

  • @aerozeppelin2 It would be astonishing if Germany didn't have the Euro.

  • @doford

I wouldn't bother arguing with him. If you contradict him, he calls you a right wing extremist. I referred him to the Winson Smith blog (written by a social worker) for evidence of failed social policies and he spent half an hour accusing me of being...Winston Smith.

  • @zzxzqwq .. as expected by behaving as though they are more important and have more power and rights than the teachers, which, sadly is the case!! The police are in a similar situation where they are tied up by paper work and legalities preventing them from using force to stop the looters.

After all this, we get a a generation which think they own the world, and their actions are our fault, not their own!!

Labour created the mess for the Torries, for you and me and the next generation.

  • @zzxzqwq Fuck me, they have been in power for more than a year. Felt like it was yesterday.

The UK is in horrendous debt after 13 years of Labour at the helm, which was still the case when the Torries got in power. The removal of teacher's powers to enforce discipline in schools were taken away during the 13 years of Labour to the point where removing an unruly child from a classroom by force or breaking up fighting children can be considered assault. The kids know this very well and act....

  • Police state supporters, the new Spykids movie is out!

  • This woman is a compete moron. Is there no depths to which this bunch of shitehawks won't stoop to get a vote. Yes Harriet, we should give all this rioters a job, thank them for enabling us to come to our senses and give them some free trainers to say thanks. You'd love that wouldn't you?

  • The problem is no on will ever see through the shit because they would vote labour if a monkey was wearing a red rosette - that's the sad reality.

I don't agree with everything this lot are doing, far from it but they've been left an almighty legacy to clean up.

  • young people cant get jobs.. cant get on the housing ladder... cant get higher education.. this is the result..... i hope they riot more.

  • You You You You YOUTH!

I like the point how he called her by her name.

  • "It's you and the Labour Party" - Fuckin' A! Never a truer word said.

  • Harman can sneer, but Gove's determination to increase educational standards in this country and to get state school kids studying the same A-levels as private school kids might actually get some disadvantaged children to a better place. If Harman thinks these problems have only been brewing for the past year and a half, she's even more out of touch than she seems here.

  • Comment removed

  • Now, now, the Harperson does not know when to stop digging.

Why is that not a surprise

Attempting to justify criminality . .

  • They''re both tossers.

  • It's the pro single-mother policies of politicians like Harriet Harman that are responsible for the riots in the first place.

  • @WizardKing78 what do you mean, please?

  • @blanoz Lefties such as Harman think that families don't need fathers, and do everything in their power to ensure that courts continue to favour mothers when it comes to child custody. They also think that a bloated welfare state (which encourages single mothers) is a good thing. More single mothers= More boys being raised without fathers. Boys without fathers are much more likely to goto prison; end up in gangs; end up RIOTING, etc.

  • Michael Gove - speaking commonsense, reality and what the overwhelming bulk of the population wants to hear. Harman - pathetic, contradictory and weak. Like watching a Lion defend his pride against a snappy jackel. Well done Gove - now use your power to educate, reform and install communal values in the next generation of this Great, yes Great country.

  • Harperson looking utterly risible. Totally unfit to ever be anywhere near government again. The woman is a disgrace.

  • So according to her argument, me who didn't get EMA for the past few years because I didn't like to con the system like so many I know, should be out on the streets stealing teles, because society owes me a favour.

  • Harpies is unreal. He went HAM on her, love it.

  • Michael Gove is superb at taking Labour to task for their past 13 years of destroying family, education and small business.

  • @Chilililabombwe But not so superb at taking the Conservative party of the late 70's, 80's, early/mid 90's to task also, who also destroyed the family, education, small business! Don't be fooled by the phony left-right paradigm, blame game!

  • i hope wen the economical meltdown happens again sum of these silver spoon torries lose der jobs and r exposed to some kind of hardship

  • @dorzey100 Exactly, they fail to beyond their own little selfish, self obsessed, piggy noses......in the end they only end up hurting themselves, all they know, they are building their own 'iron cage'

  • Being divided and conquered, de-humanised, being distracted and fooled by the left-right paradigm.

  • @dorzey100 I should make clear it is both a Tory, Labour, Liberal problem that keeps us as a people and humanity unfulfilled in potential as individuals, a community, a world, why the problems never get solved...

  • @dmj4822 yer i no that mate, jus sayin most of tory people i silver spooned upper class, life is easy, some people dont get it so easy

  • @dorzey100 They certainly don't, I just can't wait for the lowering of the standard of living by a quarter by 2020 that the elitists are calling for in the U.K. and then how these people commenting feel then.......

  • @dorzey100 oh do fuck off rather than your tribal classware drivel why don't you get out there and do something about it! From what i understand a GCSE in English is the same in Oxford as it is in Peckham, same goes for a diploma!

  • @ukleeds haha ya mug im at uni so i def got a couple of gsce!!

  • Well done Michael Gove, you gave her a well deserved good slap down!

That woman has done a lot of damage to this country when her party was in power for 13 years. As usual, she and her party ALWAYS try to make political capital, and as usual passing the buck.

The looters and thieves are just common criminals. They are not stealing and causing damage for any political reasons whatsoever.

Harriet Harman, your a typical leftist charlatan.

  • @harrymerchant456

Come on be fair - they were stealing to sell the stuff to fund their education. They are clearly all future Oxbridge Grads, they were so erudite I was struggling to understand a word they said.

  • @harrymerchant456

charlatan, indeed. sends her kids to posh private schools, campaigns for mps' exemption from freedom of information requests and wrangles internships for her kids from her friends. 'Do as I say, not as I do'.

  • @harrymerchant456 Of course they're looting for no reason, because they're idiots. But the question is, why are they idiots? And that comes down to the social reason of poverty.

Poverty causes crime, you can rage and fume all you like but where does gang culture come from? Poverty. Where does shite education come from? Poverty.

  • I think Labour just lost the next election if this is going to be their attitude to the riots in Parliament this Thursday.

Try telling the shop owners and the people's whose homes that have been destroyed that it was all 'due to the cuts'.

Labour live off the fear and discontent of people, and hope they can whip it up and turn these rioters into future Labour supporters with faint hearted pleas of 'listening to youth': it speaks volumes about the integrity of the left.
