You can't imagine the difference a half decent used belt drive TT and modern cartridge will make in your system! That tonearm may have zero tracking error but it has a very highly vibratory and resonant nature. Also, the idler drive system creates a lot of "rumble" which eats up power, muddies the sound, and overdrives your speakers. I'll bet your woofers bounce around like crazy even when there's no music.

u should remake ur video moving the cam in ur hand so people can get a better look at what ur tryin to show. also it would hurt to give a simple review. nice tape-deck

This Garrard was not made to endure the extra weight of that record stabilizer you have on the center spindle. It will damage the bearings that the platter rests on. You should use the weightless clamp-on type.

Nice gear! A Marantz preamp and McIntosh amp w/ the Garrard turntable is a very nice vintage system! It all looks to be in very good condition too. There is still lots of music in that old gear. Enjoy!
