This is one of my top picks for my Ph.D. Stanford is my ultimate goal, but I would be honored to go here. Thanks for the pics :) And loved the Beatles music!
Yes, but you must work hard to maintain your GPA as close to 4.0 as you possibly can in order to raise your overall GPA. Make sure you are also involved in community service activities, school clubs, and/or school sports. The more you do and the more you challenge yourself with your classes, the higher the probability that you'll have of making it to Cal. Good Luck!
Thanks a lot, do you think I'm missing anything else significant?(I'll really work on that gpa) I want to secure my place in the UC system. Im taking Japanese 1 at Berkeley now for the summer to get 1 years worth of credit.I'm in Student Government, Book Club, and I'm the President of Travel Club.I help run the homework hotline at school and when I graduate I will have over 300 hours of community service under my belt. Will doing all of this set me apart enough?
Yes, that's how my high school was. They didn't offer AP classes until my junior year of high school, so before that I only took Honors classes. Don't really yourself only on your number of community service hours though. It's not all about the numbers, but you must prove that you have integrity work hard and become successful.
WOW, is beautiful, I want to go there but is too far from where I am, besides i am in to major already and still finishing my GE Classes at a city college, I view all UC Berkeley courses of psychology here at Youtube and copy all notes as well bought and study the textbook, maybe one day I will be a golden bear, lol
It all depends on whether or not you are an incoming freshman or a transfer student. For example, I got into Cal as a freshman straight out of high school. My best SAT score was 1890 with a GPA of 4.2. I did a lot of community service and was very involved in the clubs in my high school. Depending on your own personal circumstances, it will be determined if you will be given admittance to Cal. Remember that your personal statement is a key factor in college applications as well.

I was wondering if you think I could get into Berkeley with a 3.6 gpa my sophmore year. Assuming that everything else I do is outstanding.
