I compete in pageants just like this one, at the local and state level, only because I need money in order to further my education to Medical school. Miss America is the largest provider of scholarships to young women. I have learned poise, interview skills, and confidence that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Go ahead. Pay attention to everything that this girl does this year. It may very well amaze you.
