I still don't understand color blindness...if colors are being registered differently, or not being distinguished correctly, isn't it more of a mental problem than a visual problem? idk, it just makes more sense to me to think that the brain is what's causing the colors to not show up rather than the eyes

@delgado4652 certainly not! there receptors or cones -the photosensitive cells in the retina are actually different and sometimes actually missing in dichromacy or monocromacy. (this is about trichromatic colourblindness though).

i think you should see a doctor my friend...the left arrow pointed at the spade while the right at the fork. i had this kind of eye exam three months ago and boy i'm telling you, although i passed it..identifying what objects were in those dotted pictures was still difficult. for those who are not colored blind, it's quite easy actually...i think maybe i had a little 25% help from my imagination when i took that eye exam...anyways..peace yah all !

It usually means that you can't distinguish between very subtle nuances.

We can't see the fork and spade shapes in this test because we confuse the colours of the dots that make them up.
