@Bidon45 There is nothing to say against Zbrush, but you have to model your models if you want to animate them. (skinning/blendshaping) Retopology is one of the ways to deal with this issues, but for me it's more pain in the ass compare to the model->then sculpt approach.
@Rezumey Sorry, but it's not step by step guideline. It is more demonstration of the concept. The concept is that you start with the low level of details, search for the right form and topology and than start to refine the details. I'm also do not repeat always the same workflow pattern, it always depends on what youre doing.

it's the add edge tool, mostly from the right mouse click context menu (edit mode). or also the subdivide edge, shift-d. And! dont forget to watch out for the tweak tool(M), this ist the most powerfull feature in xsi's polygone modeling toolset.

Not bad, I prefer Zbrush for modeling, although I do like XSI's toon render feature.

Umm.. I'm installing XSI.. and it's like.. almost finished..
It says Softimage XSI is configuring your new software
installation.. for like 10 mins now.. is it not responding?.. i mean.. it has'nt crashed.. but it just won't go any further.. any suggestions?
