I can see the limited amount of character control and the bits where all you do is press the right button at the right time make the game rather frustrating to someone like me who's used to a lot of freedom of movement in games (eg Portal 2, Mirror's Edge, CoD etc). I guess Heavy Rain is more of an interactive movie, as opposed to a free-reign game. An interesting concept but possibly not for me. I guess if you really get into the story it would keep you hooked..

This game is a deep immersion, the experiences you have aren't your typical sub-standard adventures. The Sims is a great game, but it's not alike Heavy Rain, except for the first two or three scenes, where it is similar in some aspects. I've played this game through 5 times and am almost finished on gathering all the trophies. The storyline is similar every play-through, but there's so many different outcomes that playability seems limitless. I'd recommend this game to anyone.
