@beriking because the first three games were made by Insomniac. After those games, Insomniac went on to create Ratchet and Clank, leaving the following (crappy) Spyro games in the hands of different developers (Sierra Entertainment then Activision I think.) It's just like with the story of how the latest crash bandicoot games aren't as good. Different developers take over the franchise.

Wow..I was WAY off about this guy...

I thought he'd be like one of those snooty, blond, rich, smart boys. The ones with the buttoned up tuxedos and the "I pretend I've gone through puberty" voices and with the mean but annoying attitude especially toward Spyro, and with the groomed up hair. And I thought he wouldn't like Spyro because he likes Ember, but Ember likes Spyro, and he would be jealous and have some sort of rivalry going on with him...

@HushHushHanna They didn`t fuck up spyro 4.it was rushed becuase it was supposed to come out a year later(in 2003) but some people(i call them homos) forced them to release it a year earlier than planned.I think it can use a good remake if thy can`t come up with new ideas.

this is for everyone who thinks that their models are the same. no, they are not, I know most of you think that its just Spyro with a recoloring, but if you sit them next to each other, they have a few distinct differences. for example, Flame has a rounder and longer snout, a larger, lower body, and is a tad bit smaller than Spyro.

Well, considering the fact that Cynder doesn't look like any character before her in the Spyro game, and her name is a different spelling of the word 'cinder,' it's a bit of a misnomer, considering her generally accepted status as being a wind dragoness originally. Cynder/Cinder would imply a fire-type leaning. It's possible that the fire she used in ANB was her natural element, or it could've been a power given to her under Malefor's corruption. So Cynder's a bit more creative than Flame.
