Our president is a war criminal, and Congress is colluding with him by not impeaching him, or having him tried by the World Court. Of course, Rove/Cheney were brilliant in having us NOT join the World Court, because they knew we the USA, would be foremost in breaking international laws in Iraq.
Sad, the willful ignorance shown by those who think 9/11 was 'accidental', that we were left undefended that day accidentally, and now used as a reason to continue this criminal mass murder of civilians of a sovereign nation which we invaded immorally and illegally, against the Geneva Conventions which are our national laws. Those ignorant of the Constitution perhaps don't know that a national treaty becomes federal law if we sign it.
And if you dont think this nation is safer because of the wars, ,you are dead wrong. When was the last attack on US soil? oh before the war right? And if you still dont want to agree that we destroyed a terrorist planning cell from which to launch attacks from, (now this sounds bad but follow into the meaning) atleast you can say that having troops overseas makes an easier target than striking the US. So the wars do make this nation safer. Before you join, consider the right reasons.
You know having your own opinions is fine, but step back and look at the whole picture. There are always two sides to everything. I'm a Marine Combat Veteran and I have the outmost respect and devotion to the War. You need to step back and do some more research and stop looking into the media for your facts and answers. I see no reason why a discharged serviceman could not wear his or her uniform at a political rally urging the distruction of Israel, Ireland or wherever-all 1st, Amendment protected.
