This song is awesome... just bought the re-issue of this album the other week & it's one of my top 3-4 fave tracks on the album...

Reminds me of so many bands that have come along over the past decade or so, playing a similar kind of sound but ending up sounding nowhere near as good as Jawbox themselves... a few local aussie bands i was into at the time kept going on about how influential these guys were on their music, and I can understand perfectly why. AWESOME shit. Infinite likes.

A radio DJ got in trouble by my urging her to play "Reel" on-air. The DJ complied, but the music director flipped her wig because, "the song isn't on the playlist". Absolutely shit hot!! How have I just recently started hearing their stuff, it's a bloody crime they went unnoticed? Those last two albums (FYOSSweetheart and Jawbox) are as good as anything I've ever heard. It doesn't get any better for me!!!!!:-)
