  • you should make a video on what happens after a negligent discharge...bet theres not many

  • I'm quite sure that in Michigan they never return firearms, either that or they just lied to my father and screwed him over. His handgun was confiscated for a lawful shooting that occurred in his yard - a violent dog belonging to his neighbor was killed - and the police took the firearm and later said it was destroyed as per standard policy. He then tried to see if he could sue for the $ to buy another one and no attorney took his case.

  • Why does people need guns to defend themselves. I mean how big of a pussy do you have to be before you realize it. Even if there are people with guns that might treaten your life why do you whant to encourage the use of firearms that might be harmful to others. Guns are for war not to be used as a fuel source to fill your lack of self-confidence.

  • @VinniDaCrackHead I'm sure i would want the best thing possible if my or my family's life is in danger. Using a firearm doesn't make me a pussy with no confidence. I means i willing to protect myself. And protecting myself doesn't make others use guns wrongfully. Lack of education, mental illness, ignorance; that starts wrongful use.

  • @VinniDaCrackHead haaaaaaaaaa i hope you try to rob me, then well see what who the pussy is

  • Snow's on the ground but I'm heading out for a run, just thought I'd post another humorous comment from CaneFu.> CaneFu 02/24/2011 @motormanish Having been a rider for decades, survived 3 motorcycle accidents, and a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club I am also speaking from experience so go blow your smoke elsewhere dude.?> Unbelievable some of the Horse Shit he's posted about B&D/S&M spanking, an attraction toward large ass African American pole dancers. He's 40s, Black guy from Chicago,

  • I'm all good in that department, had two ccw classes and when to TDI some months ago. And i do the range twice a month.

  • Mr CaneFu; You wrote & then erased some horrible comments at (Doug Young Part 2), I'm assuming your aware they only erase from the Video comment board. Every comment you've ever made, on any forum, with the user name "CaneFu" is visible via a Google search. Your one screwed up monkey . I'm outa here

  • @70scarrestoguy

"I'm a law abiding citizen & foul play isn't suspected. Very rare that I'd be arrested"

Jails and prisons are full of people that were first timers at every conceivable crime. You have a false sense of security.

  • @70scarrestoguy

I've already seen those videos but you just don't get it - a reprimand is just a PR gimmick to appease the public when they get caught doing something illegal. Police continue to do whatever they want as their goal is obtaining a high amount of arrests with aggressive law enforcement. They will constantly push what they can get away with as that's the business they're in. There's a lot of money in citations and filling up privately run jails and prisons.

  • This video could've been summed up by asking if you know the laws in your state. Does your state allow you to stand your ground within your residence or must you retreat from a threat if your able to? Does your State have a form of Castle Doctrine Law? A guy named Tom runs a YouTube channel "weaponseducation". Tom has great advice regarding justifiable lethal force, he's very knowlegable with weapons & he's helping the NRA to protect our second amendment rights. Tom just interviewed Ted Nugent

  • as far as families of a violent scumbag that i dropped because he refused to leave my house and threatened my family, well he had it coming. a decent person doesn't invade homes and rob people. and if a family says otherwise, well they're just as bad as the dead scum.

  • I know how it is. Last year I shot a guy in self defense. I heard the glass of my back door window break and immediately I garbed my pistol went down stairs looked at the guy and I know he say me because he looked at me and as he looked at me I shot him twice. Once in the shoulder and then in the chest. The police confiscated my gun but I got it back a month later so it was not that long

  • Sometimes the junkie that you just iced has a family, and guess what?

They never cared about him anyways so their going to try and take your ass to court because you killed their families only provider..... you might get off with no jail time but end up paying that family a cash settlement

  • @Taud kill a junkie in your house? castle doctrine keeps you safe from lawsuits.

  • @FUdirtbag Not all of the 48 states recognize the castle doctrine..... I'm surprised you wouldn't know that about your own country

  • @Taud true but that's why you educate yourself depending on where you are or going. the state i live in does and that's the only one i need to know. it's a beautiful thing this castle doctrine now if only they'd make it more public, so morons would have to think twice before they decide to invade a persons home.

  • @FUdirtbag If you travel to States that honors reciprocation of your home State Firearm license, you should check their laws regarding if they have a "stand your ground" law. Does a State that your visiting have a type of "Castle Doctrine Law" & can you legally defend yourself using lethal force if somebody invades your hotel room, your vehicle, mugs you at the ATM or at a 7-11? A U.S. Marine, upstanding citizen never any trouble, is under arrest in N.Y. because he carried within N.Y. City.

  • @70scarrestoguy That U.S. Marine checked the state laws first but was unaware of the N.Y. City ordinance. He thought he was following the law when he checked his weapon at a typical prohibited weapons area but was instead arrested. The N.Y. City ordinance has a mandatory sentencing statute & there's likely no way out for that guy unless the evidence storage people lose the pistol. Just saying; I live in NH, I'm surrounded by extremely Conservative States that don't honor out of State gun licenses

  • WHAT???????? So what you are saying is to just let the bad guy kill you, right? Better to be tried by 12 then carried by 6. So... if you believe what you are saying.... WHY DO YOU OWN A GUN IN THE FIRST PLACE?

  • When I was younger a friend of mine's dad shot and killed 3 guys during a home invasion and the legal red tape wasn't wrapped up for nearly 4 years after the initial incident. Family members of one of the victims made death threats for months until they were arrested for harrasment and various other charges. He told me it was one of the worst times in his life because of all the money and time but that none of that mattered in contrast with his family's safety. His story is why I carry.

  • mg42 if your going to jail use your best gun and have fun and takeout a wall or 2...4...your neighbors house and him ..........or you can kill his friends and family and their friends and family and so on and so on soon you'll get pretty lonely being the last man on earth you know killing everyone including your family so you kill yourself thus ends humanity he he he he or let him kill you he he he he he he

  • What if you killed the guy with a SOG Fasthawk? Would that be a different case?

  • @crikeniswin got one today at walmart for 17 bucks. :) yay

  • If there's enough light for u to be certain that its only a knife he has, n u have that Ruger from the pic... A warning shot in each leg should get the point across, even if he is high on meth.

  • @wijjit222 Always shoot center mass. Even a skilled, experienced shooter would find it difficult to reliably hit legs, arms, etc under those circumstances.

  • @wijjit222 You never fire a warning shot, a prosecutor will contend that you didn't consider the threat was lethal. You definitely give a verbal warning & verbally attempt to force the Perp to comply with your commands. I want the Perp face down, legs crossed, arms extended overhead & palms up. Then I'll cover the Perp with my finger off the trigger, while I or my wife call 911. I'm not taking my eye or the sight off the Perp, the police can search the Perp & clear my home when they arrive.

  • have a large freezer at home where you can store the burglar you just killed. your family can then consume that dead burglar; no body, no case. lol

  • @JOEtheHOTTIE Ahhh... no... but a pack of dogs will do just as good. :)

  • "When they find out that their daughter or son has been killed they tend to get kinda pissed"

NO?! YOU DONT SAY?! WELL OFFCOURSE

  • Thanks for posting, very helpful

  • lol paradox111490, justice is a sheet >:I, they dont see our side... they just say " you killed"...

  • Hmm... well even if you do have to defend yourself against an attacker, you can still be arested and even before that you may have to defend yourself against the police! If they do enter your private home... remeber they will be armed and may shoot you. Stay calm and be sure not to be visibally armed when they arive. Keep a hidden weapon just in case. Remember... what you say CAN AND WILL be use AGAINST (never for) you in court!

  • @ Millerusaf, your video is very informative and I just wanted to add one thing that you dont have to talk to the police right after the shooting, you have about 24-48 hours to make a statement. I believe thats best your option because you dont wanna slip up and say something upon which your fate may be decided, all just because you were nervous at the time.

  • Well somthing like this happened. Some guy kept coming to the screen door and messing around. My mom got tired of it and waiting for him to do it again. She took her shotgun and cocked it, he never came back.

  • just wait a few hours and see if the cops show, if they do i say i was traumatized curled up in a corner. if they don't roll em up in a carpet. then have some cake or pie, maybe with some ice cream or some thing. thank God I'm in northern Alberta, the cops around here understand.

  • Still much better than the UK

  • ur just freakin out bc u just shot a guy

  • thats such a nice pistol; what kind is it?

  • @LAYITLOOSE Ruger P95 9mm, I own one myself :)

  • @lambofgodman83 I just sold mine. I miss it so bad. I am getting another and will never forsake it

  • @CaneFu Also, Cane, we may be talking from different states. I'm in communist filled California, San Francisco area to be exact. Maybe other states are better, but here, we have DAs that would like to lock people up just for owning firearms and judges that let burglars who slip and fall in someone's kitchen sue the homeowner for damages. Here, you keep your mouth shut, a DA would just love to fry you. Gotta love The People's Republic of Kalifornia.

  • @benos4752 California is one of those overly legislated states that create laws due to knee-jerk reactions rooted in fear. In October 2011, California Governor signed (D) Portatino's bill AB144 into law. Effective 1/1/2012 California citizens may no longer open carry a "handgun" any place the public has a right to be. They can still wear a handgun at home & a few other locations but that's one more Gov. attack against civil liberties within the Bear Flag - Police State of California. I'd move!!

  • @CaneFu Well, anyone can claim to be anything on the internet, and since everything you said is in exact contradiction to everything every leo, lawyer, and criminal justice teacher I know has told me, forgive me if I don't buy your story. Don't talk to the cops. You may be booked for the night, but you'll be out to fight it and save your ass. It only takes one wrong word to fry your ass...remember, anything you say can be used against you, anything. Keep your mouth shut and get a lawyer.

  • @benos4752

Keep up with your naive belief if you want - I told it to everyone straight.

  • What can we learn from this...hmmmm....dispose of the body yourself...hmmm..might be an option...lol

  • Primo info...ty

  • Search "Don't Talk to Cops, Part 1"

  • what would happen if you didn't kill the trespasser and just shot and subdued them? would the trial of events be the same or different? i was told not to go for a lethal shot aim to disarm like a arm or leg and then tie them up and wait for police to arrive.

  • @venman360 u should check with your local citizen powers to arrest laws. and castle doctrine,

in cali a justifiable shot as explain by lapd is a verbal warning to cease violent actions and you must retreat. when pursued you are justified.

a crafty bastard that lives can end up burning you for assault with a deadly weapon or excessive/unreasonable force. tying them up u could get fuked for false imprisonment,

  • @venman360 Somebody gave you ridiculous advice. Always aim to fire at their center of mass, heart, lungs & CNS should be the focus of your aim. In many States; If you fire to wound or maim, your Homeowners Insurance won't cover you. They'll claim you had assessed the threat was unlikely to cause extreme bodily harm or death. If the threat wasn't extreme, then you've no right to draw your weapon & no right to fire your weapon at a less than extreme threat. Attend an NRA class if your unsure.

  • @70scarrestoguy As far as tying the Perp up before the police arrive. Don't do it, it's probably illegal in your State. If the Perp survives, his lawyer will prove there was no lethal threat. Whether you fire or not, if your alone, don't make physical contact with the Perp. Use your foot to kick a nearby weapon away from a wounded Perp but don't attempt to physically disarm a wounded POS. You may end up in a struggle for control of your weapon. Some police may ponder if you tampered with evidence

  • of course u gotta think of the consequenses of pulling the trigger... but think of the consequenses if u dont...

  • @pprohands69 So true, like the old saying goes; "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6".

  • I'm glad to live in a country that isn't Russia, or Amerik; but rather an actual free country where if you are attacked, you can kill him and not face charges of murder. Must be so great to live in little Amerik's !

  • I've thought about this a lot. I'm much more worried about the aftermath of such an event than I am about actually having to kill someone, and I'm plenty worried about how that would affect me to begin with. However... like most of you I'm sure, if you're in my house at 2:00am with a knife or worse pointed at me - I'm going to pull that trigger. Because once this has happened, my life is going to change forever, whatever I do. I may as well live through it. Great vid, thanks for posting.

  • A few people i know, talk about excuses to get away with self defense in a shooting. Saying things like, "yeah if someone was running at me, id shoot them and just tell the cops i was scared for life. Or say something like "oh well id just move the body in a way where it looked like he was in an attacking position" ...idiots

I play fair game and have never drawn my weapon until I felt it was my last option. In less sever events, I've drawn my knife and not my firearm, even though I had it on me

  • this video was funny but useless

  • I hope this never happens to me. Not because I don't want to have to kill someone (though, believe me, I don't want to), but because there are going to be some problems between me and the police if they take any of my weapons, especially if I may not get it/them back for a while.

  • An American living in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Central America:

The crime rate is soooo high here that it makes a bad day in Bosnia look like a sunny day in Beverly Hills. If you kill in self defense, you simply snap a photo on your cel (ie; dead body with weapon still in hand) walk away, and grab a coffee. No joke.

True story, just tonight I pulled my CCW on two dudes just to let them know I am not the one who will be their payday today.

  • Fortunately, as far as the perpetrator's family trying to go after you with a civil suit, the law will automatically protect a person once the police determine that the shooting was a justifiable self-defense homicide. Nevertheless, speaking to a defense attorney as soon as is humanly possible is important.

  • Man , i have to give it to you for making this video ... the after math is as importain tas the prep for self defence. And i bet not to many of us think about that when we think about buying a gun for protecion. so thanks..... for planting the seed.

  • @MRLUGNUTS When your considering buying that first personal defense (handgun) weapon, you should consider first attending an NRA basic pistol training class. I'd recommend also attending an NRA use of lethal force class. I'd then consult an attorney regarding the what ifs & review my homeowners policy with my insurance agent. Owning a weapon for sporting & personal defense is a decision to be made responsibly. Range training can be good family fun while instilling responsibility in youth's

  • no shit there gona b pissed

  • If we have a major societal collapse/depression like some economists say we will... then at least this legal-beagle crap won't apply to self-defense against thugs/gangs/looters/et cetera... no effective police force=James Bond license. (I guess there's a silver lining in every bad situation after all.)

    Great video, BTW.

  • Nicely done!

I felt as if I was sitting across the table from you having an adult conversation. Real words on how it "really is" or can be. I too would like to hear the view of someone in law enforcement on this subject.

    Thanks!

  • Great video!!!

  • Over here you would be charged with murder and no bail, found guilty and given a life sentace with mim of 25 years! with the daily mail calling for you to be hanged...while the robbing toe rag cunt is treated like innocent victum !

  • Unfortunately this discussion is nothing more than boobs posting nonsense.

If u don't talk to the police u will be arrested, charged with murder, & taken to jail. Ur bond will be high so you'll sit in jail & lose ur job. An attorney's meter will start clicking at a few hundred dollars an hour, & ur lawyer could suck. You'll probably lose ur home.

If ur shoot was justified no one will be able defend urself better than u will at the moment the police arrive so be prepared with ur explanation.

  • @CaneFu No, do not be ready with an explanation, that is just foolish. When I was training to become a police officer (not my current profession, but went through training for it), we had one thing drilled into our heads repeatedly, if you use your firearm, on or off duty, no matter how justified. You say only two things, "I was scared for my life. I want to speak to a lawyer." That's it.

"I was scared for my life" justifies the shooting. Without it, it's very easy to say that the shooting

  • @CaneFu wasn't justified because you were not scared for your life so therefore, the threat wasn't enough to warrant the taking of another person's life. Saying "I was scared for my life" if the only justification you give. Many cops have gotten in huge legal trouble because they don't want to seem weak and said they weren't scared.

"I want to speak to a lawyer." Because you never speak to the police. I don't care how justified you are, all it takes is one slip of the tongue and a DA,

  • @CaneFu especially in a home self-defense case, will be able to tear you apart.

"I was scared/afraid/etc for my life. I want to speak to my lawyer." Don't try to say more. If you already dialed 9-1-1, than they already know that someone broke into your house and threatened your family and you shot them, or they heard it if you called prior, that's enough. Let the lawyer handle the rest. DO NOT SPEAK TO THE COPS.

  • @benos4752

I AM a retired police officer...

If you refuse to talk to police you will be arrested, charged with murder, and sit in jail on a million dollar bond. You will lose your job, your home, and probably your family. A lawyer may or may not be able to help you - but one will certainly charge you six figures whether or not he can help you.

    The moral is...

Make damn certain you were justified in shooting and there was absolutely no alternative - then the truth will be on your side.

  • @70scarrestoguy

"I think your a horses ass for advising people to give a statement without legal counsel"

I have been trying to tell in my earlier posts that I advised one to consult with a lawyer BEFORE a self defense shoot ever happens and then rehearse your speech to the police in advance. It makes no sense to arm oneself, practice at the range, and then not also rehearse your explanation to the police with a lawyer. Refuse to talk to the police and you go to jail, period.

  • @70scarrestoguy

Actually you are the horse's ass for posting terrible advice in here. If people do it your way, they will surely end up in jail with a high bond, lose their job, and have to mortgage their home to pay a lawyer to get them out of the legal mess they will surely find themselves in.

Better to get the police on your side from the moment they arrive rather than have them write a police report slanted against you because of what they perceive to be an uncooperative attitude.

  • @70scarrestoguy

"Am I arrestable if I wish to confer with counsel before giving a full statement following a justifiable use of deadly force?"

NO, that isn't what you are saying. You stated that you can make police wait 24 hours for your statement until you consult with an attorney and not be arrested. Ask that question and you'll get laughed at. Use your head..

The police show up, see a dead body, & you want to lawyer-up before talking to them. GET REAL, you're going to jail

  • @70scarrestoguy

"citizens still have civil rights & are innocent until proven guilty"

You make the usual mistake that most sidewalk lawyers make by confusing legal theory with practical application of the law. If your statement were true no one would ever go to trial. The fact is that police & prosecutors make the assumption that one is guilty based on evidence they find or they wouldn't be able to make the arrest in the first place. Then they try to prove your guilt in court.

  • @70scarrestoguy

"If I killed an armed home evader, I only need say that I was in fear for my life & that I'll fully cooperate after I've consulted with an attorney. I WILL NOT BE ARRESTED!"

This is probably the most misinformed statement I have ever seen posted on YouTube. Under the circumstances you just described, you most certainly will go to jail no matter what state you are in.

By the way, the correct term is "home invader" not "home evader". You're an illiterate boob.

  • @70scarrestoguy

What the police will say to you after you tell them you want to talk to an attorney before giving a statement is "Fine, we'll just keep you in jail for safe keeping until you feel ready to talk to us. You are under arrest for murder."

And that's how it will go. Again, I didn't make the laws, I'm just telling you what the reality is. If you don't want to hear the truth then do it your way - someone with your bad attitude probably needs to sit in jail for awhile anyway.

  • @70scarrestoguy

Good god you're a moron. Yes, I am a retired police officer and I'm trying to tell you how the law works as you have some terrible misconceptions - and my meaning was that I didn't write them. Miranda does NOT keep one from getting arrested , just from incriminating oneself. I don't know what kind of nonsense you have been reading but you must have shit for brains if you actually believe what you are positing.

  • @CaneFu NEVER talk to the police NEVER there only job is to take a report that's it. just say i was in fear for my life! NOTHING else should be said. The WORST public defender will have you out by Monday. Police are not bad people at all but ANYTHING you say can and will be used against you in a court of law and no one is in there right mind after something as traumatizing as a shooting its best you just tell them you where in fear of your life. but your right about the lawyer cost.

  • @aprilterry82

YOU'RE DEAD WRONG - Police have a huge amount of discretion whether or not you take the ride to the county jail and what you say and how you act will have a strong influence on their decision to bring charges against you......

I am a retired police officer of 30 years so don't try and tell me how the system works because you are clueless.

  • Comment removed

  • @CaneFu if you don't say anything they cant say anything in court . but if you talk to them they will tell the judge everything you say and like i said before who can think clearly at a time like that. wow a ride to jail big deal! small price to pay for your freedom! don't talk, get a lawyer. Ive been a Maricopa County County prosecutors assistant for 7 years. if people need help getting out of a ticket then you should give your two cents. prosecutors decide what happens not the police!

  • @CaneFu The police have been “brainwashed” into believing that they are doing the right thing, when in fact they are nothing more than an “armed slave acting as a henchman”. This statement will probably offend most police officers but this is fact and it is not their fault. Most police officers believe they are performing a public service and doing the right thing in the performance of duty. Theres alot more going on here then you realize. We are controlled by foriegn agencies.

  • @CaneFu You think just because you worked for the police for 30 years that you know how the system works but you don't. You do not have your sovereignty as a state national so you really have no clue or political power. The minute you contracted with a birth certificate, ss, and licenses you were done. I got all my information from a judge of 12 years that stepped down. Do some research and you will be surprised how the government acts everyday outside of the UCC code. INCLUDING police.

  • @paradox111490

"You think just because you worked for the police for 30 years that you know how the system works"

YES, and you obviously don't. YOU think you have some special insight because you had a conversation with a retired judge??? Don't you understand that I had countless conversations with judges, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and just about everyone else in the legal system for 3 decades??? I was personal friends with many of these people, still am. You're delusional.

  • @CaneFu Its not just one conversation. He is my father. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life completely blind then do the research. But being one of those teaming masses i don't think you care. You had conversation with everyone else INSIDE the legal system. Well duh of course they are wrong. But whatever man I tried. One day your see how wrong you really are along with most people out there.

  • @paradox111490

You not only sound delusional but you're changing your story now. But believe what you want as I don't care, I know the facts.

  • @CaneFu no you don't and that's whats so sad. You don't even care enough to find out the true facts. whatever. you don't have many years left in you anyway so there's probably no use in you trying to help yourself anyway

  • @paradox111490 I think maybe CaneFu is Trolling us. I'm going to wait & see if a State Attorney answers my question before I comment any more on this subject of arrest

  • @70scarrestoguy

I'm not the troll - you've just gotten your information from misinformed sources. Shoot a home invader in self defense in any state in this country and you will be caught up in a legal nightmare because you are so ill-prepared for it. You actually stated in an earlier post that police won't even take your gun....and that is completely ridiculous Standard procedure EVERYWHERE is to take the gun, run the serial number, fingerprints, and confirm ballistics.

  • @CaneFu you can gain remedy and recourse though and make any public official or police officer sorry they even talked to you in the first place. But first you must establish your sovereignty. Only then will you be able to say you understand the system. Because you wont be part of it.

  • Comment removed

  • @70scarrestoguy

What world are you living in? Police have no appreciation whatever for your concerns when they show up and see a dead body lying on the floor. They won't wait 24 hours to take you to jail - try to stonewall them and you will definitely be charged with homicide and taken to jail immediately.

This isn't rocket science - work out your story with an attorney BEFORE you get involved in a self defense shoot then just fill in the blanks if it happens...we ALL did.

  • @70scarrestoguy

You aren't living in reality. Police show up - dead guy on the ground and you aren't talking - you're going to jail. Don't get angry at me as I'm just the messenger. If you don't want to believe the facts that's your business - I'm done here.

  • @Ranger360counterstrk when did I say I lived in a shit neighborhood?

  • Comment removed

  • shit, a guy walks into my house, he dies. I don't give a shit if it's the god damn president. no one has a right to waltz into my house uninvited and live. if you disagree, please let me know where you live so I could steal your expensive tv.

  • so what we have learned is that its better not to shoot anyone at all. Its best to strangle them with your bare hands as you watch the life fade from their eyes then drag the body to the nearest park and hang it from a tree making it look like just another strung out junkie suicide. Then go home and have some cake.

  • @paradox111490 why cake not pie

  • @paradox111490 Awesome response. Just awesome.

  • Having a gun wont help against a drive by. Unless your fucking G.I. Joe waiting for it to happen.

  • I know it is easier said than done....try to assess the situation before firing, if possible.

If intruder(s) are unarmed, I would point pistol at intruder(s), warn them to leave. If firing, one shot to the leg.

If intruder(s) enters with any sharp object in hand, I would warn them first; otherwise, one shot to the leg.

If intruder(s) enters my house with firearm, take cover, warn them to leave. Stay focus, fire at first sight, assess situation. Do not overkill, its a crime.

  • @clearner123 One big problem about shooting intruders in the leg is that they have the right to sue for assault and other such bullshit like that.

  • Best to meet the cops outside. Put your hands up and have your weapon with the magazine beside or the barrell open it laid on the ground beside it about 10 away from you where they can see it. Stay calm and speak low. Don't move. Keep your hands up. The first couple of minutes you are a suspect and a danger and in danger from the cops. Just stay cool and it will pass.

  • Texas law now states that if you are not prosecuted on criminal charges, you cannot be sued in civil court.

  • @rsjrev bless the castle doctrine :)

  • This video doesn't say anything. Who cares get a good lawyer . This guys is a meathead and talks about a shit load of what ifs. Why do you have a gun assmunch?

  • @CinquecentoNero this video says alot of stuff... there was a case in my county where a guy broke in and stole a mans microwave, the home owner shot the man in the act, got arrested, and charged with homocide. the judge ruled the microwave was not worth taking someones life over. my dad was a jailer at the time and booked the guy that was the home owner. like the video says what happens if you kill in self defense. he is just bringing up alot of stuff that could happen if you decide to.

  • I read the title "What happens if you kill yourself in Self Defense" o_o

  • Shoot to kill. I live in Texas and a burglar once tried to break into my home as soon as he came in the door I shot him in the head with my AK47 he died and I got away with it since he had a gun I just made an excuse that he threatened me

  • @Pitbuller956 Wow! Congratulations! Finally a guy with balls in this world of hippie potheads!

  • Great vid. man

  • Ask repeatedly that the perp be arrested. "Officer, arrest that SOB" works well. Repeat as needed even if the perp is obviously dead as a doornail in your hall. "I was scared to death". Repeat as necessary. And that is about it. SHUT UP until you have an attorney by your side that is EXPERIENCED in these matters.

  • Great video/audio... missed a major point or two though.

First, be the first to call 911. Mindset.

After stating REPEATEDLY that you were afraid for your life make sure you state that you do not know why this guy just kept coming at you; that you are not feeling great and want medical attention and that as soon as your attorney is present with you you will answer any and all questions they might have but that you cannot think clearly and are feeling poorly at the moment.

  • Thank you man,one of the few useful videos on Youtube.

  • Unfortunately, this video skips over THE MOST IMPORTANT THING AFTER THE SHOOTING.

    1. You identify yourself to the police and SAY NOTHING MORE NO MATTER WHAT.

    2. SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!

    3. Let your attorney talk for you.

    4. Even if the cops are sympathetic toward your decision to use lethal force the police don't decide whether to prosecute you - the Prosectur's Office decides.

    5. So, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!

  • so i get my goddam gun taken away

  • this is why i love arizona.

  • @danthman114 God Bless Gov Brewer! I have a Non Resident Arizona concealed permit. Good in many places.

  • this is why i put wireless cameras on motion dectors in my house...

  • NEVER use the word KILL. This is your only statement " I was in fear for my life"

MAKE NO OTHER STATEMENTS OTHER THAN " I want a Lawyer" DO NOT MAKE ANY OTHER STATEMENTS AT ALL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.NOTHING. NO NAME NO NOTHING and KEEP repeating," I WANT A LAWYER" SAY NOTHING ELSE, NOTHING.

(learned from having been in 7 shooting situations)

  • @cortchubbby my son believed in his right to carry and is know serving 17 to 34 years he had his conceal to carry permit and was on 911 when he shot the young man had a.14bac plus hydrocodone past perscribed levels if you go to you tube under eriee justice911 you can hear the 911call and there is also a video on you tube under erie parties/joel atkin if you go to facebook under joel atkin on the profile page you see the papers supporting the questions that i have please sent to as many as u can

  • @erieejustice911 What do you need Brother? Ill do what I can to help you. If it was self defense then you DEMAND an appeal. Let me know (via email) and we can help him out for you if you want.

  • I speak from experiance when I say that it will cost you everything you have in legal fees. A sheriff who doesnt believe in armed citizens combined with an overzealous DA out to make a name and repution spells financial ruin for you and I was aquitted.I swear If I have to do it again i will not call law enforcement. I will simply roll the body up in plastic and bury it in the deep woods.

  • @cottonjeff and if you don't have money self defence turnes to murder hear my sons 911 call on you tube/eriee justice 911 and erie parties/joel atkin then their are papers from this case on facebook/joel atkin check it out and let me know what you think and if you will send this to everyone you can i would be grateful

  • @cottonjeff well while that may be true the Sheriff CANNOT supersede the State Carry Law or the constitution. They try. Trust me they try. VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE!.Hint next time sprinkle the dead with lye before rolling up in plastic and burying it works better(so I have heard LOL)

  • A more realistic and sensible view of the act of killing. It isn't pretty, in fact its quite bloody and messy. The psychological factor is heavy duty and they way society, even friends, will think of and treat you becomes "different".

  • i was told by steve dulan the head of gun rights here in michigan, that if you were in the right of the defensive shooting, then most lawyers toss out civil suets against the (wo)man who shot the guy. AKA most lawyers aren't going to try if the man was in the right, soley because of how difficult it is to win those trials here.

  • @controversyking They might ask that, you might be green and the dead guy might be orange, they might ask all sorts of things,NONE OF WHICH you should answer, again just: "Officer I need to have my lawyer here" End of story.

  • tango down

  • This Is simple, hit the limbs. pop his knees then get your family to a safe room and guard the hallway to make sure he doesn't move while the police arrives. I had a guy climbing in through my window and i didn't shoot him cause as soon as he saw my S&W M&P he dashed and was later arrested because he had priors an left his prints on my window. however if he would have came in my house knowing i was in there i would have crippled him unless I saw he had a gun. police congratulated me 4 bein armed

  • wont the police take all the guns in the home?

  • @axell2002 I think they would seize all the registered firearms in your home until the case's been proven.

  • I live in Texas, where your home is your castle. If someone is in your home and you feel like your life is in danger, you have the right to shoot that person. Even kill them, and no questions will be asked. I love Texas :)

  • ' if u kill some ones son or daughter they tend too get pist' hmmm wonder why haha just kidding

  • @xKILLSHOTxKINGx nice one lol

  • Why dont u just shoot him in the leg or somewhere he wont die right away?

  • Your protected in Texas.

  • @DobermansRock in texas every body owns a gun hell i came from texas i have 9 guns...

  • @EvilMushroomProd Doesn't seem so in the Wichata falls area.

  • @MavHunter20XX hmmmmmm

  • @EvilMushroomProd I am from AZ and own over 20. No matter how many you own its what you carry close and how good you can use it.

  • @DobermansRock o i kno i have military standard guns and ancient civil war guns

  • @DobermansRock live in az to but i am so confused about our bassacwards laws no wait to buy guns now no ccw needed but someone really does damage or breaks in your home where your wife and kids are you have to explain like YOUR life would depend on it where is this justice? seems like they made it eazy for any body to have and hide guns but the people that need them have to explain them selfs i ask why?

  • GOOD discussion....really. Good job man.

Anything is possible in this world, but I would find it hard to believe that they would keep your gun if they decided in your favor and didn't press charges...that it was a clear case of self defense. I find it hard to believe they would keep your gun longer than overnight, knowing you would be left defenseless, facing possible rertaliation.

  • would it just be easyer to shoot him/her were it wont kill em and then call 911

  • @jwbarros14250 In an adrenaline situation, it's hard enough to shoot at COM. Not only that, but shooting someone in the leg could very quickly kill them if you hit an artery. In short, the answer to your question is "No."
