@Mebibit While I still thing the outrage is idiotic, I have to admit there -is- one difference - for the snakes, people generally buy the mouse and give it to the snake. If the snakes are caught finding & huntnig their own mice, it's usually a bit different. I suspect if people bought mice just for their cats to kill & eat, there'd probably still be -less- outrage, but a lot more than when the cat finds, hunts & kills its own mouse. They are vermin, though, so it don't upset me much either way.
