Great roll! Ampico released it on roll 71163. Will have to locate it to play on my Ampico! Would be interesting to compare the two.

Excellent piano and expression! It shows why the Duo Art is superior to the Ampico! The Ampico mechanism was very cheaply made compared to the Duo Art. The problem with so many bad sounding pianos is the lack of knowledge in regard to the expression adjustments, The Duo Art outperforms the Ampico in refinement and the end product when properly restored and adjusted!

@mrduoart Oh pooh! Well, maybe I'll reconsider selling it and give it another chance. I might have the springs too tight or somethin'......anyway, it's not a 1931 it's a 1933 and a fine instrument in it's own rite.

My steinway duo-art is a very nice piano from 1931 and it has the electric roll drive. Super rare. unfortunately I don't think that the Duo-Art systems holds a candle to the Ampico as far as expressive refinement and overall 'finish' of the reproducing end product. I want to sell mine and get a mason AA with an Ampico A system. Any takers?

Wonderful. The choice of songs on this roll is superb. They are less "square" than a lot of other songs of the time regarding form. I love foxtrot rolls for parties and this is a great Duo Art.
