When they crossed the Atlantic the Zeon forces were reeling from Odessa and the White Base just had open ocean to cross instead of land.

Oh man, if Woody hadn't flown his ship into Char's suit's camera he could have taken Amuro! Its great to see Char in action again and using a mobile suit that rivals the Gundam in power, excellent use of his claws and beam cannons! I feel bad for the Zeon who was piloting that newer mobile suit, I got the impression his suit was supposed to be epically badass with its armor and extra beam cannons and Amuro took him out with one shot like he was piloting a Zaku or something XD
