I love how it seamlessly starts from the end of series two and ends at the beginning of series one...they took such good care with all the details they'd included when discussing the wedding in series one too, such as Lenny saying "Vince has done a moody" and Graham asking Penny to meet him at 7 minutes past 8...delightful! I agree, Penny is so beautiful...and I don't think I ever realised first time round how fantastic the acting was! And Vince's family..haha! Thank you from this 37-yr old!!

The distributors 2|entertain have informed me today that Just Good Friends will be among their 2010 releases on DVD.  There could still be licensing and copyrights problems though.

Thanks for this. This is extremely unlikely ever to be released on DVD due to rights over Rolling Stones songs.

This series is John Sullivan's crowning glory, far better than Only Fools and Horses.

Thank you, I loved this when it first came out, Christmas 1984 if I'm not wrong, and I have just spent a very pleasant afternoon watching it again, it was every bit as good as I remembered it. All the actors are superb, beautiful characterisation.

I see season one is up here but I don't seem to see season two, the best one in my opinion, is it here?

Yes, it's here - it starts at Episode 9 (part 1) which I think is the beginning of Season two.

For anything earlier than that try Ashbyjay's video clips.

Season 2 started at episode 8 there were 3 series of 7 episodes plus the xmas special.

Just fantastic watching the whole special again after 24 years....but I can see why it's not getting a dvd release, there's quite a lot of Rolling Stones music present, they would have to clear.....Thank you once again Lady Pen, please take a bow!!! ;)
