You go down a gear when your RPM goes low on a hillclimb, or else it goes slower and your torque and RPM goes down and you stop, and if you loose ballance, thats what happens. Story solved.

it all happened so fast mate i just jumped off and watched the carnage, it doesnt look that steep on camera but nobody else would try it. so i did and what a fuck up.

I'm brand new to quads. I've always rode xr's and the 450 racer dirtbikes. I love climbing hills. I just have a question for my future hillclimbing. Could you have jumped off the machine to the high side and held on to whatever you could to make sure it doesn't roll? Or does it just happen to fast to make that move?

@jerrman29 yes, most times you have enough time to jump off and hold front brake, then you can turn it around or back it down, check out a couple of my vids, i have many examples of failed hillclimbs

Im not bashin, u but let me give u a tip or two..

1. Never take a hill climb in 3rd gear unless you have the space to get more then halfway through the RPM's of 3rd

2. Hit it in 2nd and you do lose power then just downshift to 1st.. dont worry about clutching. you can downshift and it wont hurt the tranny

3. when u come to a stop on a hill like u did..

grab the front & rear brake together. to keep ur shit from rolling down the hill.

4.lean forward over the bars but dont sit on your tank..

lol I also have a 07 raptor 700. im sure you know what went wrong but when i climb i stay in 2nd and belly on the handle bars and i make sure i go into the hill with good speed. Good luck bro im not hating or saying anything bad. and rigg you are right anything a quad can do a bike can do bigger n better but quads are alot of fun to each there own right.
