@GriefSeeker In season two they entrusted him with all the money they earned off that dice game (which he could have ran away with). The anime was clearly pointing out how people have the capacity to be good despite going through a lot of shit.

Kaiji is a unique anime because unlike Akagi and One Outs, you never know whether or not the main character is going to win. It's more realistic in the sense that people lose a LOT in their life. I think the main point is to never give up, believe in yourself and never rely on others. Another good point in it is his morals. Examples of this include when he saved Kōji Ishida from the ship or decided not to push that man off the steel frame.

It's one of the best anime I've ever seen. 10/10
