@blueguy1500 in response to your statement about catholics not worshipping statues,i would like to say that a few weeks ago i drove by the local rcc and there was a gentleman there in front of a statue of mary and he was bowed down before it and kissing its feet.im not sure,but i think that qualifies as worship of a statue or idol.

You are confusing veneration with worship. The two are completely independent concepts of each other. But regardless of what I say, you people will refuse to believe what, I, as a Catholic tells you because you are convinced of what you have been told. So I won't even bother. If you want to know more about veneration, go Google it. Catholics do not Worship statues, we read the same scripture/bible you do. Think of veneration as a showing of respect and remembrance.
