@HenryRuins I had a PSP 2000 and the bigger screen doesn't make that much difference, I like the PSP Go better, I have it modded and can play NES/SNES/Genesis and free PSP and PS1 games for it. The screen quality is better because the screen is compressed, no scan-lines like the psp 3000. And I bought a grip for it so if you have big hands you can hold it easier. Trust me the 1000-2000-3000 were so bulky compared to the Go. It is like comparing a Game Boy Advance to a Game Boy Micro. (Micro>GBA)

@favianutube the thing is that is you already have a PS3 why not have a nice portable system as well? the trouble with handhelds now is how do they compete with subsidized platforms like the iPhone 4? iPhone 4 is actually a $600 device with an HD screen for the most part and 1GB CPU. If Sony does put out a PSPhone they might have a chance to catch up tech wise. PSPhone would have touch screen, and actual button controls=win for hardcore gamers over iPhone 4 and touch only games.

@flarbton You can compete with with a platform like iphone like making it just as useful as an iphone 4. As of right now, there is no reason why the psp's browser hasn't been overhauled or replaced with something like opera mini. It isn't adapting to newer technologies, there should be an app for google voice. There should be a native netflix app under 'video' and social networking apps (fb, twitter, etc). psp phone can come out later but it feels like they abandoned psp's fundamental features

psp go sucks, the only way to download stuff is online and u can only do it when u are on wifi and when you do, it take for ever to download and eats up alot of battery. So the only place u will be playing it is at your house or someones house that has a plug to charge. wouldn't it be better to be on the computer, ps3, xbox, wii at home?

@roboguts6 not true. you can plug it into your computer and download it from there. it doesnt take any battery either. and it only takes about 15-30 minutes depending on how fast your internet is. and you can take as many games, movies and songs anywhere you go and not have to worry about losing them. in my opinion, its a great hand-held gaming system.

@roboguts6 no.... the point is yes u download at home but when u have 7 games on ur PSP u dont have to carry UMDS around, for me this is sweeet i can carry this thing around school or while traveling and not have to have that big as case with games, who cares the download time...... it gets done , its actually been proven that the download time on MOST games is quicker than the average person driving out to the store and buying the game then coming home to play

It's not like you have to be online to play the games. You really find it that difficult to plug in the charger, have it download the game for like 30 minutes? You don't even have to go to the store! Also, after the game is installed, it is there forever! No umds! You can't get much more portable than that!

Ive had a PSP 1000, the Star Wars 2000, the God Of War 2000 and the PSPgo. The 3000 has a better screen and a built in mike, but it has scan line screen issues that the PSPgo fixes. And since the Go's screen is smaller.. the screen looks better than the 3000's. Out of the 4 PSP's ive had... the Go is the best.

i got a psp go, it is comfortable to use the analog stick, the layout of the buttons and the way its designed to be held is much more like a ps3 controller.. the reason why i sold the original psp was because i thought it was too akward to use.

Let's say that average heigh of European male is 1.85m. And we've got rather bigger hands then people of Asia. Sliding screen doesn't allow us to put our whole fingers on bumpers, behind the screen, after 2-3h of playing it's really uncomfortable. I also don't like requirement of shopping and downloading games on HDD instead of UMDs. But they say it's future of gaming...

PSP go has no different exclusive games from any other older psp version. Therefore they can't add somthing that will alter the controls that will effect the older psps. Its just a higher up version of a regular psp. Its not like its a whole different console for seperate games.

I hope this settles your statement. And don't put the blame on sony. I'm sure they have somthing cool like a second anlog stick or touch screen coming for the next psp.
