  • awesome i ran across you, I was thinking about doing a protein day vs an apple day, b/c i'm noticing my results spike after more protein.

    I happen to KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that my body responds to protein more than carbs. So I have cut out the apple, didn't even bother with the grissini etc. I am doing great!! How many eggs are you eating? and when? Is this on P2 or P3? I have learner TONS from ya girl! Also...moisturizer...help!!

  • Hi Charli, I have watched all your videos and found them to be very informative and entertaining. Me and a few friends are planning on trying the HCG protocol soon.   • Ive been looking for you to post again for weeks, hope to see you soon. I have been doing atkins from the beginning mostly due to the fact that Im not hungry and cant stand the green stuff. I eat all I want- which is not much, including fatty foods. Ive lost 15 lbs in 15 days. When I attempted the 500 cal. with carbs I found I still didnt get 20 carbs a day, which is essentially atkins anyway, just hcg supercharged! wondering how ur doing with this 'new' development, Missing you!

I am getting ready to do R1P2 in about a week and my $ situation sounds like yours and so this info is great! Thank you for sharin ... I understand you are just tellin us what is wking for you and that is only your results but you look great girl!

  • Hi, me again, on the last comment I meant I stopped P2 at 30 days to go to P3, to include more items we had stored that are allowed on P3. I will start R3 again Sept 21 if I can financially. I lost 20 lbs and 14.5 inches on this round. This is a great protocol. Thanks again hcgcharlie, you are so cool!

  • I'm rooting for you hcgcharlie. You and mama clock have helped soooo much! We are having financial difficulties as well and I went to eggs and egg whites and low fat cottage cheese as my P2 proteins, it worked. I decided to stop P2 at 30 days so I could include some strored Items we have that are ok for P2. Thankfully my husband insists we have 6 months of food stored for lean times.

  • Congrats on the success in spite of your challenge. However, I would caution others that Simeons had reasons and thousands of patients to see what worked healthwise and what didn't. He probably came up with the diet on the protocol to include necessary and acceptable items, ie. apples(Fiber and vit C) strawberries& Celery( Fiber&C + good for gout which he warned of) etc. At this stage of diet no harm for you but Atkins eating from the start not a good idea.     Interesting comment. I modified my last days of HCG also, I added the coconut oil and went easy on the apples (I stopped having bread a long time ago, b/c it messes up my blood sugar). And guess what, I lost more weight than before. Now I am on P3, but am doing this according to Atkins Induction (very little carb), which goes really good.

    Hmm, there seems to be a low-carb / weight loss connection somewhere, don't you agree?

  • I do think that there is a connection!!! The fact that I have been able to eat MORE protien....cutting out the carbs of all kinds etc....shows that something is definitely up with that!!! Dr. Simeons developed his Protocol BEFORE we knew about no carbs etc and Atkins....also he was trying to keep things nutritionally balanced as much as he could. It is NOT balanced nutritionally to eat just protiens etc...but short term seems to be good!!! Whatever works...huh!!!!

  • Oddly enough in my dr. appointment today where I weigh in and she reviews my food log she suggested adding 100 more calories of protien...specifically eggs. She said sometimes undereating can cause stalls and an increase in protien calories will help you break through.

  • WOW!!!! Thanks for this positive affirmation that we're onto something here...purely by circumstances....this really matches up to what has been happening!!! HOORAY!!!! My niece also started adding more eggs and she has found that if she's over the 500 calorie with protein...she's still ok with here losses!!!

  • REALLY...out of desperation.....I found out that there are "other ways" that we can still achieve the success.....NOW....Phase 3 is a TOTALLY different story!!! NO experimenting or changing....very important for us to take in NO SUGAR and NO STARCHES!!!! Otherwise....if it works....go for it!!! Thanks for noticing!!! I'm so glad to hear that you can tell the difference!!! YAY!!!

  • Wow Charlie, this is the VLOG where I can tell the most difference in your appearance. Your neck and arms looks super slim. Congrats. I am going to try more eggs.

Today is first day on P3...but Transitioning with the 500 calorie part until Friday Evening....and THEN....Fish Tacos with the BEST homemede Sour Cream and Tapatila Hot Sauce dressing....course I will eat mine without the Tortillas.....LOL...the fish is Marinated Mahi Mahi from Trader Joes....incredible!!!!

  • I am a lacto Ovo vegetarian so I have only been eating eggs PERIOD for my protein and losing very well. Tthe nutritional content of 1 whole egg and three yolks is the same approximately as 100 grams of chicken-I have that for one meal. Be careful about eating too many yolks--triglycerides could skyrocket. Then have 1 cup of PASTUERIZED egg whites for the 2nd meal and I make shakes: 1 c. liquid egg whites, 1 c. Ice, 2 pkts sweetner, and either 1 c. frozen strawberries, or 1 peeled navel orange.

  • I ran out of room, but I wanted to say that I follow the protocol exactly except for the protein substitution. This works really well, so thought I would throw that out there for those that aren't vegans like me but still want the rapid losses. Good luck everyone!

  • you stated you ate eggs three times a day or bbq inside of eggs. What else did you eat with the egss? What about water? what about teas? Any vegetables or fruit at all with the eggs. Because I want to try it myself. Just trying to get an understanding of what was your full day menu? Look good! Thanks in advance

  • WELL....I didn't eat BBQ inside of eggs....but when I ate the egg beaters for breakfast...I add Herdez Cesera Salsa MILD....I pour it over the topafter I scramble them.....Then for the hard boiled eggs...I will use Herbamare salt to sprinkle on it. I ran out of vegatables....so wasn't eating any...or fruits...or the breadsticks/crackers.....LOTS of water....and I had lots of Raspberry/Lemonade Crysat Light to add to the water.

    I had emailed you about "colonics" while doing hCG, since you mentioned you had been a colon hydrotherapist. Do you do this while on protocol? Would you recommend it? Mumzeeee

  • I would not do it while on hcg, myself, mostly because you have enough going on already....but that's just me personally ...I have never read anything on it....BUT I would definitely do it BEFORE taking hcg and AFTER hcg.....

  • We gotta stick together!!! That's why I posted this....any PURIST of hCG would be appalled...LOL...BUT ya gotta do what you gotta do!!! SO...I have been eating 2 hard boiled eggs around noonish....2 hard boiled eggs around dinnertime...and 1-2 hard boiled eggs around 9 or 10 at night!!! When at BB-Q's...I eat an unmeasured amount of meat...whatever is there...kinda Atkins-like...except as little fat as possible. It shook me out of a stall too!!! I wish you the best!!! Don't give up!!! MODIFY!!!

  • Another question.. How many eggs are you eating per day and what are you doing with the eggs? I too am in a tight spot after being laid off but I have alot of eggs and is actually the most affordable protien out there. I would like to know how you are doing the eggs and how many a day you eat so that I can experiment with that also. I am losing really slow and actually just hit a stall, so any info will be appreciated, Thanks so much

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS!!!! I don't always see it myself...but I FEEL it!!!! My 501 jeans that I LONGED to get back into are now so big...I'm giving them away to my niece, who has lost over 50 lbs now and started 2 weeks after me on hcg!!!! She has lost soooo fast!!!! But now she's like 189!!!!

  • I hope your DH gets back to work quickly. Have u applied for Food Stamps? It is a hassle, but I got them after the Hurricanes both times, and they help out.

  • We don't qualify for Food Stamps....but thanks for the thought!!! I'm doing alright.....I've found that things are still working for me....and we have two BB-Q's this weekend...and have found I can eat BB-Q'd meats....even hamburgers...because the fat drips out into the coals...and I'm not worrying about the weights of the meats....it still works great....not the healthiest....but short term...I'm off P2 in 4 days anyway and hubby just got 1st check from 1 weeks work....we're good!!!
