If two people enter into a contest in which they have consented to the rules then they have to expect they might get slammed, just like they have to expect they might get submitted. In addition, it's a way to win the contest. Disorient your opponent and put him in a vulnerable position at the same time.

When I competed at GQ slamming wasn't allowed. If its allowed then I see nothing wrong with it. Most tournaments GQ, NAGA it isn't allowed.

Its all about the hips/bridge, exactly what wrestling is all about right? Explode the supplay with power from the hips to get a good back bend/bridge which puts your opponents hips above your own, thus the wrestler being thrown is now above my head allowing both his and my weight to land on his head/shoulders. A bad supplay is where your hips don't come through your back is flat and your opponent lands on top of you (and should be avoided).
