I wish there was such a thing as a "like" rating of 1-10. These boys play directly to my Scottish genes. Any American Renaissance Festival or Scottish fair who wants a Scottish band for their festivities should contract these braw fellas.
@RaisedAesSedai - The long haired "animal" isn't Aya...it's Jamesie. Aya is the one on the closest end playing the bodhran. But yes, Jamesie is an animal!
You should go play Jazz Fest. It's very multi-cultural. I tried to share a link but youtube won't let me. Go to nola dot com and search Jazz Fest. :-)
@timegirl14 Pure Irish/Scottish Celt Magic. "Eireann agas Alba ga Brach" = "Ireland and Scotland Forever". Greetings from Ireland. Let England piss off, the English never had Culture
@RamsesIreland I'd have to disagree. Back when the English were still Pagans, they had a fascinating culture. They just lost most of it when they became Christians, whereas the Celts kept most of their Pagan spirit and customs. It is truly a shame the way England turned out though. I am very proud of my Anglo-Celtic heritage, mostly my Scottish heritage :) I even bought a kilt with the tartan for the clan that I am related to, which my last name comes from.
aye boys and lassie you might wanna try for mad march next year in adelaide south australia scots abound here womadelaide and the v8 supercars and the fringe cause i'd pay to see you....just call premier mick sure he'd love your music
I have a wool ALbannach tartan kilt coming from USA Kilts. (Yes, I'm bragging. It's cut from the same bolt as the kilts the band have now. I have Misfit bragging rights!)
ok.........you with the long hair and the desire to drum,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,YOU ARE AMAZING! I do not wish to impose in any way but have a friend on the isle of skye.........and wish you would connect
I would love to see them live but they aren't going anywhere near me , they are going to north carolina and Pennsylvania, but I live in New Hampshire lol
I had just watched Clanadonia live for the first time today and then caught a few of their vids on YouTube before finding this post. As a Scotsman living in Scotland my advice to you is loose the didgeredoo(spelling?), it's drums and pipes that make the blood flow :)
Crazy Energy! :) Love it!
