  • George actually plays bass on this. Creem: You also told me you played bass on "Old Brown Shoe." George: It’s like a lunatic playing. Creem: It sounds like McCartney was going nuts again. George: That was me going nuts. I’m doing exactly what I do on the guitar.

  • "Ballad of John and Yoko" might have been the sexier single, but I think this is the better song

  • Best song in the past masters volume 2 tht i like alot

  • i may appear to be imperfect... no george! you not even appear to be imperfect

  • What a great guitar solo... One of the all time best in rock! You can definitely hear a Clapton influence.

  • a lively good song

  • Only the Beatles can make a great song about shoes!

  • @Kendallat15 listen "brown shoes dont make it" (frank zappa). a real rock masterpiece

  • R.I.P. George! WE LOVE YOU !

  • DAT BASS!!

  • George Harrison writes the best songs. Hes my favorite Beatle!

  • and I thought this song would have more views :\

  • Easily the most under rated Beatles song........yes, easily

  • I'm going to strum this song fast and yell it and jump around and kick and spin and have a blast.

  • TO SAY THATH TE BEATLES WERE MORE POLULAR THAN JESUS CHRIST IS NOT A SIN, THE LIBERTY OF WESTERN CIVILISATION IS THE RESPECT OF TOUGHTS YOU CAN SAY WHAT EVER YOU WANT BUT MAKE SURE THAT IS THE TRUTH.

  • yeah, a reminder of the times where a song used to be still a piece of music, not a piece of routine shit

  • This is a really good song, and it's a slight bummer it never became as popular as some of the other Beatles songs did. But you know what scares me?

As I waited for this song, which is an old-fashioned classic rock love song, you know what I hear in the suite room across from mine? A sleezy gangsta rap song about some guy who wants to have mindless sex with a girl he refers to as a bitch.

Its scary how song lyrics have changed so drastically over the past 40-50 years. And not a good scary.

  • AMAZING MAN, he really was.

  • Great job, Georgie genius-boy!!!

  • LOVEEEE ITT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you think about the lyrics written for Pattie Boyd,

"You don't really how much I need you, love you all the time and never leave you"

"Something in the way she moves attracts me like no other lover"

"Because you're sweet and lovely girl, I love you"

"I loved you from the moment I saw you. You looked at me, that all you had to do"

HE MUST HAVE LOVED HER SO!

  • If they didn't get divorced, Dhani would have never happened. George actually had a son before that, Andrew, in 1964.

  • Pattie Boyd really did give me the confidence to get through the Beatle days. It's sad how they drifted apart but it seems like George got his life back again. Poor Pattie, however, struggled...

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow!his voice is sexy...

  • George is a very sexy man.

  • master song written for Pattie Boyd, his wife at the time!

  • cute song... :) Harrison is a top songwriter besides being a premier guitar player!

  • @chotchcas Dogshit heroin waste damage to Lennon's brain dumping Cynthia for that mistake.

  • Best song about shoes!

  • "If I grow up I'll be a singer, wearing rings on every finger." Sounds like Ringo.

  • What a classic! I'm not even going to compare this to some new music artists! It would be insulting to the Beatles! George Harrison will live in my heart FOREVER!

  • if i grow up i´ll be a singer!!!!!!!!

  • " if i grow up i wanna be a singer wearing rings on every finger " ^^

    Ringo maybe !! ^^

  • l-o-v-e

  • I remember dancing and singing wildly to this song with my friends... I miss those days.

  • I never noticed, until now, the similarity in the guitar bit at 1:44 (just before the vocals come back in) to the end of the solo on "Carry That Weight" (just before the line "I never give you my pillow..."). It's a subtle similarity which I doubt many would notice (...or care).

  • He's talking bout ringo, wearing rings on each finger, that's where he got his nickname

  • I think this says a lot about the Beatles. Even their (mostly) forgotten songs are great.

  • Better than Ballad of John and Yoko, and in my opinion, should of been the A-side, not the B-side! Along with Rain, I think that should of been the single, with Paperback Writer as the B-side.

  • @johngears11 The Ballad Of John And Yoko is the only song that should have been removed from the Hey Jude Beatles Again LP replaced with Drive My Car

  • I absolutely love the bass in this song. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @MyQuestForFame Played by George.

  • 1 dislike!! Disgusting!

  • @rihannarox11 How do I suck. Why would anybody HATE this song? I love this song.

  • @velocikiller13 Oh sorry, i thought you said 'I dislike!!' haha sorry i'll delete my comment, yes i agree, how could anybody dislike this song, i love it so much! :)

  • @rihannarox11 It's okay. I should have said ''Whoever dislikes this song should be ashamed of themselves'', or something like that.

  • i love george harrison sooo much that i'm learning to play guitar just because he played guitar

  • i heard this onmy radio the other day. I stopped. I stered at the radio and hugged my radio. I yelled "I LOVE THIS RADIO STATION!!!"

  • 1 person don't have a old brown show

  • Is it true that he recorded this in the corner of the studio? Coz i ♥ it! George was the best beatle.

  • one of georges best!

  • Yeah, not their best song, but it is good.

  • @jasonaldeanqueen24

    I forgot your opinion matters

  • @jasonaldeanqueen24 One of the best though.

  • @0652411 This song is awesome! But we're all intitled to our own opinions...

  • @Stranglepuff Yes, they are. Well as long as they like Beatles they are.

  • sounds alot like Because your sweet and lovely...I luv you.

  • @EGMAG i think you mean the song "For You Blue" from Let it Be, and yeah, it kinda does have the same style...

  • yeah Enjoy

  • @EGMAG yeah it does. probably because they're both george harrison songs and they were written around the same time period. usually songs written by the same peron, around the same time tend to sound similar. of course, john and paul are both exceptions to this.

  • george was really a genious

  • cracking!!!

  • Bass in this rocks!!

  • Not one of thier best but as they are my favourite band ever i still appreicate it

  • i love this song!!!!
