All of the Preon 2 flashlights are IPX-8 waterproof, according to their website.

4sevens has the WORST customer service. If you get a lemon, they will only allow you to return the product, but they won't go the distance and make sure the next one they send you is better. BatteryJunction, on the other hand will do this. I purchased a Preon 1 S2 version for $75 and compared it to my older Preon 1 R5 version and it's not even as bright despite them advertising it as 7% brighter. I don't want to return the light, I just WANT THE LIGHT THEY ADVERTISED. Nothing but excuses.

@sublipara The R5 LED should be brighter than the S2 LED. For instance the Preon 2 S2 is 120 lumens and the Preon 2 R5 is 160 lumens.

hey, every model of the prion 1 and 2 is ipx8 waterproof. it is just in different parts of the description on there website, so the extra $ is just for the titanium
