Wow, I grew up in Chicopee Falls and passed that church a million times. Can't believe it's gone :(

it was not moved, it was demolished

The main part of the church was taken apart piece by piece and moved. The newer section was demolished.

oh i did not know that i thought it was all destroyed and the only thing that was saved was the bell. Thanks for telling me that
Yeah my friends lives near that church. I heard before they knocked it down they took some bell out of it and put it in a museum

The bell was made by Paul Revere's son. It was on a traler the last time I saw it. I have no idea where it went. Image of bell in description on right.

Does anybody have any info on exactly where in Montana this Church moved to. I am indigenous to the Chicopee Falls Valley.

wasnt there a delay in the demolition because of asbestos in the tower part? i rememeber hearing something like that. nice video though

Thanks Fixer, I had to go there about 40 times to get 18 good pics. I live nearby. I hate to see old buildings torn down.
