In Islam, spirituality is connecting our actions to our belief in Allah & the life to follow. A person who does care for the Hereafter has no worthy deeds. They are merely going through the motions without sincere faith. BTW, the Hereafter also consists of Hellfire.

The Hereafter will certainly come whether we desire for it or not.

So isn't there an element of 'unfairness' here? You don't desire the hereafter, but your deeds are only recompensed in the hereafter, so you're being rewarded with something you don't even want, how is that a reward?
