the fuckin end of this anime is sick!! they took the little girl's head along with her insides and put it in a 3 headed statue!!! the end was so sick and very fuckin sad... its one of those endings i wish i never see..... imagine that you're alone in the world with only a hologram watch projecting an image of a rose.....(thats what heppened in the end of this anime) but overall the anime is great..

Yea, I've watched 19 episodes over the past two days and just forced myself to take a break. It's definitely very heavy with all the intertwining factions, defectors, and philosophical undertones. All in all a very cool anime that I'll probably watch through a few more times.

funny bit of triva kinda related to the Yakuza theme in the series. When ABe was in art school he was livign in an apartment complex that was half a yakuza run brothel Accordign to Abe himself he wasn't a client but the place was so noisy he got poor sleep realitively often.

But, Yeah... this brings back fond memories, I had been watching SE Lain and Haibane Renmei prior to seeing this. But after D/L one episode of it, I was convinced enough to buy the CE DVD box set (lenticur???). It has this unique feel to it and so much going on, but once I got my head around the anime I never looked back :)
