  • Hello I like your video can you plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz contact me guide me where from I can buy that Product Thanks ( 647 ) 857 1431

  • @noor9565 have you never heard of google??? anyway sephora sells it, go on their website.

  • LOL at your accent! I'm so scared to use it because of the sulfates and cones in the shampoo and conditioner...I'm using the Phytospecific line.

  • phyto straightening balm is BOMB!! love that stuff

  • @abht01 I just added it to my hair arsenal. I won't be using it often. I still like my natural curls.

  • the relaxer isn't $400 it cost about $200 for them to do it at thePhyto hair spa in the city, but the relaxer itself is about $60. i use to use it before i started transitioning 2 years ago. The phytospecific relaxer is a great choice if someone is determined to have relaxed hair. Personally I'm done with relaxers! Phyto and phytospecific are great product lines. But I'm on that KBB hair crack these days

  • @sherylintheraw in a thread i saw $450 for a whole head and $350 for a touch up. I was a bit off.

  • The salon I go to, to get my hair flat ironed uses these products. It's like thier home product. I only go twice a year. They gave me some samples that i've never used. I'll have to try. Thanks for sharing!

  • I used Phyto back in the day and they have a honey (something forgot the exact name) shampoo that is thick like honey. It worked well along with the shampoo you showed but I ended up moving away from anything with sls in it. Dang you made me remember that I have qhemet..lol i have to get back to that too.

    great video.

    PJD

  • I like the disclaimer on this vid. heehee

  • I've been waiting for this review. I've always been tempted to try their stuff. thank you for this review~ I love the music too

  • your hair is gorgeous straight... loves it

  • it's also available at Ricky's

  • I used to use Phyto when I was relaxed (not that crazy relaxer you mentioned, though). I remember the line working well. Haven't looked at it since going natural. May check it out. Your hair is SERIOUSLY long!! Don't you have a b-day coming up?? I remember you and my hubby are around the same time. Caps....

  • @BrownFaceTV It must be time for her birthday she's "straighten"!

  • lol!

  • Hey, richeau... How long would you say your hair has grown in a year? I was looking at last years vids and it looks about at least 8" longer... NICE work!!!!!

  • girl dont know i dont measure! lol

  • MAN i get grey hair too girl, i dont know where they come from. lol

  • ok pocahontas! lol when did your hair get so long!? my gosh! looks like your wearing a beautiful wig! mad props to you!

  • I went and saw you on curl junkie!!! You luked fabulous dahling!!!

  • heheeh :D

  • I've been lookin N2 gettin this stuff. I tore out the page from some mag...gonna cop it one of these dayz.

  • Phyto has a whole line for relaxed hair called PhytoSpecific. I used the relaxer (#1) for 3 yrs and it's $60.00. It's the best relaxer I ever used, more organic ingredients but a little pricey - not $400 though. I wouldn't be buying it.....Vanessa Williams supposedly uses it. I'm growing relaxer out now, but I used to stretch this one for 12 wks easy.

  • no i think they went to get it done at the salon and it was crazy expensive, not the relaxer product itself.

  • @richeau Dang! Talk about a mark up...that's crazy. I say buy it off the shelf & take it to ur stylist. Luv ur vids chica...learn so much from you!

  • i've asked the question whether richeau purchased products with her own money or not. it's not being nosey, it helps me weigh how valid i think her reviews are. perhaps there is a pressure to give a positive review to someone who is sending you products or maybe she wouldn't include the price as being a negative since she received it for free. i wouldn't discount her reviews because she wasn't purchasing these products directly, but i wouldn't value them as much.

  • see i wont even get into that because im on three different hair boards, everyone knows im a junkie so it's pretty much safe to say that im not a mole for any company. i didnt put the disclaimer there for that reason though, i really don't care what people think about the manner in which i acquire my products.

  • Agreed. In regard to the disclaimer, WTH? How can you be fined for something like that? Anyone can just put on their youtube "I bought my stuff"...that doesn't necessarily mean they did. Or they could pay shipping and not have actually bought the products. I've OFTEN times received free stuff from companies (if my order was late or something)...does that apply?

  • I know and it's the dumbest sh*t ever if you ask me. Eh, if you received free products from the company, hell you paid money initially for them to send you stuff so I wouldn't even bother. I don't know if the disclaimer thing is true or not but oh well, not going to worry myself about it!

  • @richeau: It probably isn't true just because there's no way in the world to monitor that type of thing.

You know what? I've been meaning to ask you, why don't you create your own website like CurlyNikki and do your reviews and hair advice there? Like freewebs or something? As many hits, as you are giving sites like longhaircareforum, naturallycurly, and nappturality just for saying you LIKE a product..I would definitely look into that if I were you.

  • You know for the past year I've been wanting to do so but it's just the issue of time!!! I either need more hours in the day or an extra day off to myself lol but trust me I'm trying!

  • @richeau: Yeah, I know what you mean.

It would be cool if you decided to do it though. There are also a lot of companies that would pay ad space which could be used to keep the site up (like motowngirl and thecoilreview).

  • Yep, I know about the ad space. Mane and Chic and Urbancurlz have the same thing, plus a few others. There are some other things I have to figure out too, like how to do the rest of the fancy stuff on blogger!

  • @richeau: Ugghh God I forgot about the actual building of the site XD. That's the worst part.

I wish you well though, maybe this could be like a 2010 project or something to jump off the new year. XD

  • you guys are mean for giving me -2. : (

  • Afrobella and the OrganicBeautyExpert don't buy all of their products....at all. IN fact, I know for a fact that a lot of them are sent to them for free...yet they do product reviews and a lot of times the reviews are not so positive.

If you have an issue trusting someone's personal opinion on a product, maybe you should stop relying so much on product reviews on the internet and figure out what works for your hair by yourself. :/

Also it's not so much nosy as it is tacky.

  • it's not tacky, it's called being INFORMED. it doesn't make a difference to you all but guess what? it makes a difference TO ME!!!

btw, i asked once and she didn't respond so i didn't ask again.

it's not just whether she gives a positive review or not. i mentioned PRICING is important. if she isn't buying these products herself, i'm not getting whether cost is calculated in her review.

  • You aren't owed the right to be informed, though. Product reviews should be about the efficacy of the product on that person's hair type..period, price isn't even relevant.

If it makes a difference, just look at someone else's review that you trust.. or figure out what works on your hair yourself. Not being nasty, just letting you know

....and it is rude to ask someone how they get their ish. It's intrusive and slightly arrogant for you to expect her to supply you with that information.

  • sister, why are you replying to me? i ask what i want to ask. you have already expressed that you do not agree with me. let's keep it movin.

(this isn't a message board so i will not respond again)

  • @frau4bzna: Because you keep responding back..lol. You responded to what I said...and I replied.

I've already packed up and moved, I'm sitting here waiting on you.

  • Phyto is a *****,.

I didn't buy this because it's so expensive at France.

  • Funny that I am watching Golden Girls as I watched this. GG rocks.

  • lol...I love the golden girls. Where did you get the heating cap from?

  • buy the heating cap from any beauty supply! i have the gold n hot one

  • who was it that cut your hair.........

  • The disclaimer...OMG folks get a life! That's just as irritating as you having to explain you're black. Folks are so ignorant!

I just ordered some Qhemet and I can't wait for it to get here to use it. I know my hair is going to love it!

  • nah regarding the disclaimer, supposedly there are some new laws where they'll fine you if you don't put the disclaimer, and someone helpfully left me that comment on one of the videos so hence me putting it here. frankly i could care less if people wonder how i acquire my products.

  • do they want us to put this disclaimer on all vids we make, even older ones tht were made before the new rule existed?

  • im guessing on the new ones? it's actually posted somewhere in pdf format..ill try to find it for ya

  • Thanks

  • OMG! Your hair grew soooo much... I love it! Very healthy looking...

  • lol was that an english accent haha. cute

btw your hair sure does look long and sawft

  • lol i was being silly

  • Wow your hair is sooooo long!!! It's gorgeous!!
