@rak000 many powerful traps could be costly,but how about letting the mouse relax just in a trapped cage with minimal food/bait and water. Then you got easily use weak knockout chemicals (so the rats don't feel pain, unlike they usually do) and then use a normal trap. They will die supposedly happily unless you want to release them.
@grimRthehedgehog There are actually traps on the market right now that are pretty much a cage which traps the mouse. It's called a “have a heart trap” supposedly it's very humane but on the downside it's kind of expensive I think it's around $50 for trap but that's something I'm willing to pay for I don't know why I have not bought one yet but I will very soon

Do you live in the city? and have you ever considered hiring someone to find out where they are coming in from so you could block the entrance? as far as them getting injured, most of the time I find them fast enough to where they have not injured themselves yet. when I release them they run as fast as lightning. but unfortunately I will admit that there have been a few times where the mouse was critically injured....
@rak000 My kitchen is on the first floor and we live in a row of flats. You can guess where the problem lies but ever since we had workmen dug up the roads outside we started having mice infestation. No need to hire pest control I THINK I got rid all of them for sure using glue traps.

I caught a mouse 2 days ago with a glue trap, it was screeching pretty loud and i was pretty afraid of it, so i took a second glue trap and sandwiched it and threw it outside. It died a slow and painful death I know and now I feel guilty. A decent person should have at least finished it off, but it was late and night and didn't want to wake up my neighbors.

Well I can't wait for the day when cameras are invented that can work at night. Or perhaps maybe a day will come when flashlights are invented so that we can see things in the dark - potentially for the purposes of filming things for instructional videos. I guess until then we'll just have to make due with instructional videos by simply using LOUD music, typed text and MS Paint to illustrate our guides.

Mate, I recommend you to look up "mice plague Australia." Although I myself prefer to release mice, with another mice plague occurring down here... well, I don't really have much of a choice.
You also have to remember they're one of the most sexually active pests in the world. If you know there's two or more mice in your home, then chances are you have a nest somewhere and that will eventually lead to a mini mouse plague in your own home within months/a year.
@Nesaru I just looked up the mouse plague and he didn't say anything about it being harmful to humans; although it is dangerous for mice and kills them. Could you possibly give me some more information about this?
@MyMrwrestling a VERY GOOD trick to get them in the trap is to put a very strong sharp smelling cheese on the trap ( I use Feta Cheese) and they'll definitely land on the trap. Another great trap is "Havahart" it is 100% non-lethal. check out their website. I'm going to buy one very soon.
With or without the bag, make sure you keep the mouse at least 5 inches away from your fingers. The mouse can be tired, irritable and angry depending on how long he was trapped, and he will not hesitate to bite you. They can carry disease.
Take him outside, put him in a bowl you wont be using anymore, spill some corn oil on his hands, feet and tail and around his face if he got it stuck. Use a stick or long object to help push him out.
@IknowWhatImherefor you're right. I recently discovered a new type of trap which is a bit safer than glue traps. It is called a "haveaheart" trap. It's made of metal and all it does is contained the mouse. You can then let it go off into the wild after. I think I'm going to buy one assume it's a have some more money on me.
Glue traps are not "non-lethal". Because the animal injuries itself on them severely and usually dies of either shock/its wounds or starvation. Oh, and pouring oil on the animal fucks up its fur's ability to keep temperature so they'll die of exposure.
If you're going to catch and release, why not use a cage trap instead? A lot less work and reusable...
@Smegoff84 I only pour oil near its legs not on its body. Recently a friend of mine introduced me to "haveaheart" traps which are cages. Im going to buy some as soon as I have money.

@rak000 many powerful traps could be costly,but how about letting the mouse relax just in a trapped cage with minimal food/bait and water. Then you got easily use weak knockout chemicals (so the rats don't feel pain, unlike they usually do) and then use a normal trap. They will die supposedly happily unless you want to release them.

It's called a “have a heart trap” supposedly it's very humane but on the downside it's kind of expensive I think it's around $50 for trap but that's something I'm willing to pay for I don't know why I have not bought one yet but I will very soon

Even if you release it after you caught it by glue trap, I guess it wouldn't survive for long due to injury caused by the glue and the stress it endure.

@rak000 My kitchen is on the first floor and we live in a row of flats. You can guess where the problem lies but ever since we had workmen dug up the roads outside we started having mice infestation. No need to hire pest control I THINK I got rid all of them for sure using glue traps.

I caught a mouse 2 days ago with a glue trap, it was screeching pretty loud and i was pretty afraid of it, so i took a second glue trap and sandwiched it and threw it outside. It died a slow and painful death I know and now I feel guilty. A decent person should have at least finished it off, but it was late and night and didn't want to wake up my neighbors.

Well I can't wait for the day when cameras are invented that can work at night. Or perhaps maybe a day will come when flashlights are invented so that we can see things in the dark - potentially for the purposes of filming things for instructional videos. I guess until then we'll just have to make due with instructional videos by simply using LOUD music, typed text and MS Paint to illustrate our guides.

Mate, I recommend you to look up "mice plague Australia." Although I myself prefer to release mice, with another mice plague occurring down here... well, I don't really have much of a choice.
You also have to remember they're one of the most sexually active pests in the world. If you know there's two or more mice in your home, then chances are you have a nest somewhere and that will eventually lead to a mini mouse plague in your own home within months/a year.

@Nesaru I just looked up the mouse plague and he didn't say anything about it being harmful to humans; although it is dangerous for mice and kills them. Could you possibly give me some more information about this?

i have mouse glue traps but they so cleaver and avoid them
any ideas to get rid of them?

@MyMrwrestling a VERY GOOD trick to get them in the trap is to put a very strong sharp smelling cheese on the trap ( I use Feta Cheese) and they'll definitely land on the trap. Another great trap is "Havahart" it is 100% non-lethal. check out their website. I'm going to buy one very soon.

Good video.
With or without the bag, make sure you keep the mouse at least 5 inches away from your fingers. The mouse can be tired, irritable and angry depending on how long he was trapped, and he will not hesitate to bite you. They can carry disease.
Take him outside, put him in a bowl you wont be using anymore, spill some corn oil on his hands, feet and tail and around his face if he got it stuck. Use a stick or long object to help push him out.

@IknowWhatImherefor you're right. I recently discovered a new type of trap which is a bit safer than glue traps. It is called a "haveaheart" trap. It's made of metal and all it does is contained the mouse. You can then let it go off into the wild after. I think I'm going to buy one assume it's a have some more money on me.

Glue traps are not "non-lethal". Because the animal injuries itself on them severely and usually dies of either shock/its wounds or starvation. Oh, and pouring oil on the animal fucks up its fur's ability to keep temperature so they'll die of exposure.
If you're going to catch and release, why not use a cage trap instead? A lot less work and reusable...

@Smegoff84 I only pour oil near its legs not on its body. Recently a friend of mine introduced me to "haveaheart" traps which are cages. Im going to buy some as soon as I have money.
