Great video, this should get more views, im a "biker" to, i love how some (!!) people respect me on a normal road, and actually go to the side of the road to let me pass and i thank them for that.
I wanna go to the nurburgring soon, i hope this year, im from belgium so its not far, and now that i seen ur vid, ill def keep it in mind
Another tip for on the ring: cars, honk, but not in a agressive way, u know what i mean, cuz indeed mirrors are useless..
here here.....great video........they should have footage like this on show at the ticket desk or in the cafe.
I had a similar problem on my Thundercat (600) with a Porshe 911. We, safely, played cat and mouse for a few corners until i just let him go. Like r7a5b0 says "it is not a race" it's a public road 'toll - so to speak'. I think some people forget that bikes and cars alike. TOP VID.
im off there on my gsxr 1000 in a month.if a car comes up behind me hes obviously faster than me so i plan to let him past asap.i just hope everyone there has half a brain cos if things do go wrong its obviously gonna be the biker who ends up worse off
@mrbalshott ive been there for the world superbikes last year and it was great fun great atmosphere the road around the old ring are amazing fun lots of hairpins and sweepers to rid on al day long after watching from a few place around the ring which i recommend before you go on it as to be honest not to scar anyone but there a some right fucking twats that go rouynd it both on bikes and car mainly cars :) Personally do a sigthing lap then have aquick break and go out for a 2nd time and enjoy it
@MaGicMik3z Its been two years since I was there now,and it was great. It was also total carnage. I could not believe the amount of crashes and bikers down on the track I saw but I think I chose a particually busy weekend to go. Dont go there expecting your luck to be fair. If the tracks closed a lot but you go home in one piece you have won.
the biggest problem for all is the fact that although a "racetrack" it is not a race !there are also some four wheeled idiots that have no track experience at all then turn up trying to go faster than they are capable of ! and yes there are bikers doing this but NEVER EVER will a bike do anything worse to a car on the ring than a small dent or scratch . unfortunately ,despite having the same rights as a car on the ring ,if it goes tits up ,the biker ALWAYS comes off worst .nice vid btw !
Cheers for the heads up. I'm taking a bike to the ring in april and I'm terrified
