I had to remind myself right in the beginning to listen to the plot, because I was totally absorbed into the 3D special effects. I found myself wanting the movie to go on and on. Not one of my daughters, the youngest just turned 10, asked to use the bathroom at the theater in the 3 hours since we took our seats! Loved it and would definitely see a sequel if there was one out!

This movie was the bomb! This trailer doesn't give the movie any sort of justice. I bet you only people younger than 25 would say this movie is the best ever made. I am a sci fi fan, AND I HAVE seen the best stories ever portrayed. Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator 2, Aliens, etc. I like Cameron (The Abyss, Aliens, True Lies), but this was not his best work.
Though entertaining, the dialogue at times seemed weak, sentiment was difficult to perceive, and the motivation was at times vague.
10 years.. the average amount of time I have to wait for a movie that shatters all my expectations and takes my mind to another level. Avatar was this movie, the most amazing film ive ever seen. There is a good chance I will live out the rest of my life and never see another movie that comes close to Avatar but, im grateful for the experience its a once in a lifetime event.

He also confimed that it would not be called Avatar anymore since Jake is not an Avatar, but something diffrent. What made me like the film was the scene-to-scene sequences.

@PKIZZLE488 hey good job, you got the point of my statistics quote, and believe it or not, some people make movies for a higher purpose, the money isn't what drives them, it's their creativity and hope to improve culture that drives them. Some people do it for the people, not selfish get rich quick scemes, Cameron USED to be one of these people, then Titanic struck gold, and it got to him.
And thank you for solidifying yourself as a movie moron by saying Transformers 2 was a good movie.

@navyfieldbeerfelden All I ever hear from original transformers fans(of the original show) is that they hate it, and for a non-fan it's just abysmal, sure great action, but nothing else at all, and I didn't really get that last part, i mean yeah, it executed what it had to do perfectly, but people love it based on cool looks, almost everyone i know who loved it in the theaters, when they saw it on regular tv, they didn't like it as much, what does that say? it depends on visuals and nothing else

I bet you only people younger than 25 would say this movie is the best ever made. I am a sci fi fan, AND I HAVE seen the best stories ever portrayed. Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator 2, Aliens, etc. I like Cameron (The Abyss, Aliens, True Lies), but this was not his best work.
Though entertaining, the dialogue at times seemed weak, sentiment was difficult to perceive, and the motivation was at times vague.
It is nonetheless, an entertaining piece.

10 years.. the average amount of time I have to wait for a movie that shatters all my expectations and takes my mind to another level. Avatar was this movie, the most amazing film ive ever seen. There is a good chance I will live out the rest of my life and never see another movie that comes close to Avatar but, im grateful for the experience its a once in a lifetime event.

Everyone for some Good news James Cameron Confirmed on April 20th 2010 that he would be making a Sequel and Triquel? So its going to be a Trilogy. He also confimed that it would not be called Avatar anymore since Jake is not an Avatar, but something diffrent. Rumors say it will come out before or during 2014 *sad face* Most likely before since James Cameron again confirmed to do the impossible and Do it in less amount of time.
