i respect u dude i have that same one and its old and reliable unlike the new ones made out of plasic this one has tytaniun in it i know because my hard drive broke and when i took it in they said for its time this was the laptop

internet explorer is terrible you should try google chrome or firefox they are much faster and secure so you dont have to worry to much about viruses

@AllJackedUp12 i understand what youre saying, but i dont like firefox because it cant display cleartype font, and i dont like chrome because the way you download stuff is weird.

@intelinside1990 no, i meant for ONLY firefox. like IE can display the correct font on my Channel, Arial, without cleartype enabled, but FireFox cannot. i dont like cleartype.

@infinitypark003 ive seen dell vostro 1000's that came with Turion 64 X2's and Athlon 64 X2's. (Turions having 512k cache, Athlons 256k. per core)

@nelizmastr Ya. I really want to upgrade. But I don't know how much for a processor upgrade. Anyways, my Gaming Rig PC Project would start next year (2011) so it will have a 6-core CPU.

@infinitypark003 I didnt know where to start at first, when I upgraded the CPU in my laptop. I just wanted to see if I could do it. and it worked out just fine.

but, erm, nice. a 6-core. im not upgrading my pc any further on the ddr2 platform. next step would be replacing the motherboard, an ATX one with 4 DDR3 banks and 2x pci-e, so I can buy another GPU and go crossfire :)
