The geek spasm, Well that's what sort of happened....the image is within 5klms of my home and just around the corner from a friend's home.

It was found while zeroing in on that friend's home that we came across this plane in flight.

I don't get why everyone is talking shit about this video or the contributor when it's a cool shot. True everyone has a right to an opinion, but SauronsEye was only sharing it, he is not trying to convince you to love it. So attacking him does not help any. I use google a lot, and I haven't found a plane in view yet. So thank you, SauronsEye for sharing this.

It doesn't matter if he should have put it up or not, it's here, so either talk about the vid...er...photo, or don't say anything. What interests me with the photo is the apparent intentional erasing of the planes shadow. Look just up and to the left of the plane, notice the blue 'ghost' of the plane...what's that?

I don't know what that is supposed to be. I didn't put it there and if you look at the shadows of other structures on the ground. You will see that the shadow wouldn't be in that direction.

Oh and what I find personally interesting may not be interesting to other people. This plane flys over my home at least twice a day and then when I saw it captured on google Earth, that was interesting to me.

That is actually just the coloring of the plane (i think). For some reason, it isn't synchronized with the plane. But it isn't the erasing of its shadow

There actually are hundreds of planes like this captured with Google Earth. Some guy put the placemarks in a big file. It's pretty cool, you should look at it sometime.
