  • Just on the clutch issue this has happened on our's and its done about 48k. We have the 1.4 diesel and assumed the clutch issue was due to the torque on that engine. Dealers want about £600 for a new clutch so if you are considering this car just be aware of that. Apart from that we love the car and the 1.4 diesel pulls like a horse which is good with 4 adults in car in Peak District.

  • what pisses me off is that the people that can afford those cars don't care too much about driving them.

  • WTF.....

  • WHAT A SHITTY REVIEW ILL JUST TAKE UR WORD FOR IT SHALL I

  • There is an issue with the clutch on the C1 in that it's only good for 18k-28k, before needing replaced, Citroen will try to tell you its down to driver error. Toyota have recognised this with the Aygo by upgrading the clutch plate from 180mm to 190mm the same unit used in the Yaris. At least Toyota have recognised this as a design fault. Citroen have upgraded the unit in the new C1, why is this? What was wrong with the 180mm unit, answer, because it wasn't fit for purpose, that's why.

  • @scrabo176 Uff.. thanks God for that. I am about to change car (in 3 months time) and I will go for a supermini. And the C1 is top of my list for looks, price and running costs ( and finance options)

But I heard about this problems with the clutch. Is it worrying? Mine will be new and I cover about 6-7K miles per year, so I hope it wont have problems. Any more feedback about the overall reliability? I really do like this car and it seems well built.

  • i gt a 107 worst car i had its just slugish needs power nd bigger boot

  • Uncomfortable, noisy, underpowered, badly built, very bad handling, unpractical, by far the worst car I have ever owned!

  • you must have the 3d version

  • it is an 07 plate rhythm, the clutch has started slipping and there is a lot of sludge building up on the underside of the oil cap which I have been told is a sign that the head gasket is on its way out, ive owned it from new and covered only 30k miles

  • nice girls =))

  • your eyes well mate?
