O_o Where I live, Fairfax County, Virginia, pretty much every school has like 30 of the SMARTBoard units each. We're surrounded by so much of this technology, it's just like going to any regular school for us.

They're just starting to implement these here in Newfoundland throughout the school system. I really wish I could be back there again with all the cool technology bring put in, I've only been out a few years and so much has changed.

This is actually using A Smart Tech Smartboard..... But I used Johnnys Wiimote/IR Pen method earlier today with it .. works pretty well !

Amazing use of the Smartboard! After teaching for nineteen years and now learning about Web 2.0 and school 2.0, I went from feeling like a competent, effective teacher to feeling completely inadequate in my technology skills, and my ability to teach the "digital generation". I am fascinated by blogs, wikis, podcasts etc, but struggling to determine how to change my classroom to make it state of the art. As a school district we have a long way to go....
