I think you are moving your palm in to rapid of a motion and to circular of a motion. Although, this probably wont help, i bet you already learned it.

what you can do is make your thumb more of a 90 degree angel but on the side of your index finger and rotate the pen on the "groove" in between your bottom knuckle and top knuckle of your thumb. and when you swing your hand out make sure you dip your hand a little downward to keep spin in motion

You need to keep your hand straight, and just after you've done the FL TA Rev, try not to jerk your hand upwards.

i can barely do this trick twice, but what helps me is when you do your flta, turn ur thumb at an angle and level out your hand more.

I suggest you keep your palm in the position it was after u do the FL TA to...and balance it...important key is PRACTICE... =D

When you push the pen with the FL TA using your thumb, try to push it a little further from the center. This'll cause the pen to rotate closer to the right side of your palm when you go into the palmspin, allowing for an easier 3rd FL TA, 4th FL TA, etc.

In your case, it seems you aren't turning your entire hand enough. You shouldn't have to "reach" with your thumb in order to get the FL TA, which you are doing.  This causes less control. Merely rotate your hand more, and use the tip above.

@stormcannon1 the problem with this is that if i move/turn my hand more, and move my thumb in farther like you said, its tough to get the next palmspin going for me bc i either push the pen off the left side of my hand OR.. no wait thats pretty much what happens XD
