  • Water Crisis - A Solution.wmv

  • As I am figuring out what to give my loved ones this Christmas, this video reminds me that there are some parents that are not even able to give their children the simple, basic gift of clean water to drink. Part of the gifts around our family's tree this year will be gifts to Living Waters for the World in honor of my loved ones. Not only will this be a gift to my family, but it will also help give clean water to neighbors I will never meet. Thank you for this video reminder.

  • Steve,

This is a great video. I love how you combined the Living Waters for the World DVD with your personal message.

We have a team from Farragut Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge that visited Belize in May. We're on track to building a relationship with the community of Armenia and doing an installation in the next year. If anyone out there reading this is interested in helping, please let me know!

    Let clean water flow!

  • Excellent Job on the video. I enjoyed learning more about this organization and what all it accomplishes. These folks have the right attitude about helping those less fortunate. Keep up the good work.

  • I took the training and learned more about the water crisis and what we can do to help. I hope so much that this mission surpasses any goal that can even be imagined!

  • Great video. And, I know firsthand that the CWU training works and that the program is sound. And that the water system can be installed by amateurs.

  • Wow, what a great organization. Living Waters for the World is truly changing the world for so many people in the third world, one drink of pure water at a time. They can't solve all of the world's water problems, but like Teddy Roosevelt said: "Do what you can, with what you have, where you're at". God bless all the Living Waters Saints and all they do in God's Blessed Name.

  • This is an awesome organization that is slowly but surely changing the world in which we live. If you have ever wished you could give the gift of life, this is your opportunity. You have only to go on one trip to see the smiles and experience the hugs of gratitude for a gift that all of us in North America take for granted, and you will be in it for life. Looking for a way to pay it forward? You just found it!

  • This is an incredible ministry to those most in need.

  • Our church is involved in a LWW installation in Madagascar. Through this mission we will be able to provide a system that is simple, sustainable and affordable. The standard unit costs $2800 and will process 300 gallons per batch. LWW's programs are designed to teach local leaders to build and maintain the water systen and also provide training in health, hygiene and spiritual education. "Joining hands with those who need clean water, we find ourselves holding the hand of God."

  • Through Living Waters for the World, others can reach out and bring clean water to those who do not have any. The over 130 installations worldwide speak to the appropriateness and success of this venture and Clean Water U is how it is shared with others.

  • I just returned from Peru and completed a LWW installation with jwelch. It was an awesome experience and to be told the water tasted like mineral water and they would drink it because it tasted good not just because they needed water. I also agree wholeheartedly with jwelch's comments.

  • Having just returned from Arequipa Peru it was my great pleasure to watch this most recent posting on youtube that shares some of what is now our story. Partnering with folks from Dunnellon (FL)Presbyterian Church, Health Bridges International(OR) and a Roman Catholic parish in Alta Cayma, we put aside any of our own biases and embraced the concept of clean water for all of God's children. LWW can make this happen for you too.

  • A simple water system to solve such a complex problem. The video is great and shows the spirit of this program, simply to bring fresh clean water to people who don't have access to it currently.

  • Living Waters for the World is an absolutely fantastic program. It weaves educational and technical components together in a faith-based structure. I recommend Clean Water U to any interested person.

  • This is a wonderful mission! I encourage all churches to learn more about this organization. Great job Steve!

  • We definitely take our clean water for granted...we all need to help. This is a great clip and good use of technology. I can't wait to bring my laptop and show the kids in Sunday school. We are using the Living Waters VBS curriculum to help our kids learn how they can help.

  • CWU is a great starting point for getting involved in this mission work. I attended 2 years ago and gained tools and understanding needed to go to places I might not otherwise go and make a difference in other's lives, changing my view of the world along the way. I've been to villages in Mexico and Guatemala and am humbled by the resourcefulness and resilience of the folks I've met along the way. The people of CWU / LWW have done great work!

  • An excellent organization and great training for any group looking to "let the clean water flow". Keep up the great work!

  • In this country (USA) we take clean water for granted. It is the base of life...to think that it is a luxury for others is astounding. I know that your mission is blessed and so necessary. God's speed.

  • Sounds like a great organization and is doing some great work in the world!

  • It is hard to imagine how we could have a greater positive impact on those in need.... Hard to imagine a greater return for our efforts to help others.... Imagine what Christ can do through us when we turn ourselves over to Him. Just Imagine.

  • I just returned from Peru where I helped install a system at a medical clinic. The clinic team was super appreciative. We could not have done it without the Clean Water U training. The entire process was a "mountain top" experience.

  • Very interesting video and this organization provides a truly important service to the world. Well worth everyone's support, for God so loved the world..

  • My experience at Clean Water U was vital to the success of my church's trip to Haiti where we installed two water purification systems.

  • Clean Water for All of God's Children! Wow, what a vision and a hope that someday no one will die from drinking contaminated water. One of the most important commandmants God gave to us is "love thy neighbor". LWW has developed a way we can reach out to "our neighbor", here in the US and in parts of the world that don't have access to safe drinking water. Clean Water U and LWW is a life changing experience that I am grateful and blessed to be a part of. Come join us in this Spirit led mission.

  • Clean Water University is the most culturally sensitive overseas work that I have done. I loved working with the community and getting them invested. This work has truely been life changing. My church has sponsored 2 systems in Nicaragua and 2 in Kenya in the past year.

  • Clean Water U was a life changing event for me. The partnerships and deep relationships that are part of the LWW program make delivering water a wonder and an joy.

  • The people of Posoltega, Nicaragua, know their water is not safe. Many buy purified water for their children because they can't afford it for the whole family. This project produces filtered water that can be sold for one-fourth to one-half of the market price. In projects like this, each person can help bring clean water to the world one village at a time.

  • My first experience with LLW was during hurricane Katrina. My wife and I worked in the clean up efforts at Dimound Head, Miss. The water was unsafe to drink. LLW came in and installed a water filtering system at the Presbyterian Church. We had clean drinking water for the community. Praise God for the work you are doing. The vidio is very enspiring and points out the important mission of providing clean drinking water for all God's people.

  • LWW is an awesome organization that can help groups help others in a very organized and effective way. Attending Clean Water U was a transformative experience, surpassed only by actually helping deliver clean water to those who need it.

  • There is nothing more important than clean water.

  • Access to clean water is the #1 problem for people in developing countries around the world. This ministry can enable those of us who have that privilege to share it with the millions of others for whom it is still unavailable. Through the training provided to volunteers at Clean Water U, Living Waters puts wheels on a wonderful vision: Clean Water for ALL of God's Children! Thanks for the message.

  • I am so proud to be part of the LWW family. What a wonderful video, thank you for sharing. Best regards for all future trips!

  • What a great mission...clean, pure water for everyone! There is nothing more necessary! Living Waters for the World and Clean Water U. are effectively addressing a vital worldwide concern.

  • As the pastor of a congregation intimately involved and active in the Living Waters for the World project, I can speak to the dramatic and transformative power that accompanies bringing clean water where before there was none, and returning to communities the dignity that comes from bearing responsibility for one another's basic human needs. May it be that each of us finds a way to let this kind of justice roll like clean, living streams.

  • WoW! Not just clean water for children but clean water for moms and dads, too. Seems like such a simple way to do what Jesus would.

  • Great Video, Great Project, Great Messaage.....

    Keep up the good works.

  • Terriic spot. Tells the story really well. Thanks for poiting everyone toward a solution to assuring that everyone had clean water.

  • What a vision: A world in which no one need die for lack of something as basic as clean water. This is perhaps the most important video on youtube. Thanks for posting it.
