CWU is a great starting point for getting involved in this mission work. LWW has developed a way we can reach out to "our neighbor", here in the US and in parts of the world that don't have access to safe drinking water. Clean Water University is the most culturally sensitive overseas work that I have done. I loved working with the community and getting them invested. This work has truely been life changing. My church has sponsored 2 systems in Nicaragua and 2 in Kenya in the past year.
Clean Water U was a life changing event for me. The partnerships and deep relationships that are part of the LWW program make delivering water a wonder and an joy.
The people of Posoltega, Nicaragua, know their water is not safe. Many buy purified water for their children because they can't afford it for the whole family. This project produces filtered water that can be sold for one-fourth to one-half of the market price. In projects like this, each person can help bring clean water to the world one village at a time.
My first experience with LLW was during hurricane Katrina. My wife and I worked in the clean up efforts at Dimound Head, Miss. The water was unsafe to drink. LLW came in and installed a water filtering system at the Presbyterian Church. We had clean drinking water for the community. Praise God for the work you are doing. The vidio is very enspiring and points out the important mission of providing clean drinking water for all God's people.
