It takes an incredible lack of imagination to write something like this. What next? The writers wrote another episode where Superboy used his powers to win a speed chess tournament?

Similar to the more recent TV series "SMALLVILLE", this late 1980's "SUPERBOY" series chronicles his adventures before he matures and moves to Metropolis to become Superman. This Superboy is NOT the same Superboy character that has been more recently depicted in DC comics. That character is partially a young Superman clone, was adopted by the Kent family, and goes by the name of Connor Kent.
