I hate both of the characters being used. Wolf's forward smash is DESTINED to hit you, and Snake can hang around on ledges and the air and destroy with projectiles. Pretty nice fight though.

Many of the techniques in brawl weren't figured out at the time, thats why his snake is like that at the moment, now that there are small things like shell shifting and wave landing,he is much cleaner. also, there are a lot of mindgames involved in this match, so thats why there is distance at points.

Pros from Melee are still winning tournament for brawl. Why because they are simply good. In other words, the removal of advanced techniques did not destroy the competitive scene or players of smash, only the people who could only win because they knew the advance techniques but lacked skill in other areas such as mind games and zoning.

What I liked about melee was that one could be practically in complete control over their character, you could try to notice what your opponent was thinking (or how they played), and punishing mistakes or predictability could hurt the opponent a lot. Doing massive cheap comboes wasn't the point, but they aren't really "cool" and won't be missed, and those comboes were escapable!

Melee's overpoweredness wasn't bullshit, it gave the game more action. You had to watch your own back every second, or else you'd get waveshined across the map, or kneed, or chaingrabbed, or something else horrible. Brawl has a more mindgames and strategy, definitely, they're different games. But melee moves werent bullshit.

fun match and yeah they were different melee had more techs (i guess some they its exploiting the glitches) but anyhow it just developed into a different way of playing which i personally liked you can definitely see different playing styles in each game at least i do with my characters
