Gordon Brown was and is a Fabian socialist (creeping communism) and he demonstrated it in every anti-British subversive policy he implemented during his 13 years in power. Traitor.
shite pm who signalled the death nail for labour,signed the checks for the iraq war-went along with it,oversaw financial meltdown of the uk-he let the banks go to the wall,which meant when it finally did hit the fan in america,we were'nt protected,look at evry other country they've recovered better than we have-thanks brown
looking at the video it seems being prime minster destroyed him, i cannot imagine the stress he went though probably for the best for his health that he lost.
When's the last time a PM of this country recieved as few votes as Gord, any1? Answer, never!!!! (pre WW1 doesn't count as there was no vote for women) He is officially the most unpopular PM we've ever had
Without an illegal war and a global recession I don't think Gordon would be fighting a losing battle.
The problem is politics have gotten so personal ever since the excentricies of Blair and Thatcher and it'll be a sad day when the homophobic, fox hunting tories get back into power.
If conservative run the government theBritiain's economic and everything would be much worst than whatever you imagine, Just learn from the post and look at the future.
You should never with-hold your vote. If you really don't feel there is anyone you can vote for, you should still go and post your ballot un-marked or write on it, 'none of the above'. OR, stand yourself and see how many votes YOU get..
I wont disagree with your logic although I don't see why you should never with-hold a vote as it makes no difference if you cast an invalid vote or simply not vote at all. - Am I wrong?
As for standing yourself on pertinent political issues I think elections now are just advanced sales of stolen goods: I could quote both HL Mencken and Churchill for views on how democracy functions and provide all the empirical evidence needed to back up their claims.
this was a nice speech, shame he's become so hated since then. I think we must remeber he's only human and we're none of us perfect. I personally admire Gordon Brown and wish everyone would stop being so personal. He may not be the best P.M we ever had, but he had good intentions, sometimes good intentions get mixed up in the pot of confusion that is life and politics. Well done Gordon!
What are you even talking about? He's the Prime Minister, he's not supposed to muck up his job, he runs the country (mind you he's told by the oligarchy how to rule the country but he can't even get that right). If his is true intentions were to actually better the country and support it's citizens he would change the way politics are, and stop buying into all the bloody lobbyist. We need less laws, and this madness with the police and loss of liberty and privacy needs to be stopped.
@delfin96 He's a good PM - he's just not amazingly good at public appearances. However, recent speeches he's done have been utterly amazing, to be honest.
@delfin96 i am irish he took over from a mess in herited from blair he wasnt as bad a s blair i dont think he wasnt a good pm but he wasnt as worse as blair
The UK and Prime Minister Gordon Brown are AWESOME! The U.S and the U.K have always been close allies and friends and hopefully whoever the next U.S President will be will continue that! Everything i ever heard about P.M Brown was Pro-American and was to make the world a better place for everyone:!!! GOD BLESS P.M BROWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
With all due respect Gordon Brown is not awesome. He is Pro American - that's a positive thing but he is unelected by the British voters and staged a coup in September 2006 to unseat Tony Blair. The British people have not voted for this man.
4:23 to 5:16 that news guy said what gordon was saying since 1:08 to 3:57 lol i hate big speachs u have to make up stuff that sounds good and takes ages to say
Looks a lot more sturdy and sincere than that grinning, snivelling slimeball Tony Blair. And that was one hell of a speech considering it was delivered off the cuff.
gordon brown did the best for his country and now david cameron is putting this country in a hell

Vote UKIP or BNP 2010!! Lets kick out LabLibCon parties!! Lets Kick out all the sleazy MPs
curtismoore100 1 year ago
New Labours 'achievements'
* An illegal war in Iraq + a 9 year war in Afghanistan.
* Tuition fees which locked the poor out of university.
* A record divide between the rich & poor.
* 2.5 million unemployed.
* Less renewable, home produced energy than nearly every other developed nation.
* Record patchwork privatisation in the NHS.
* Proposals for spending tens of billions on Trident, ID cards & more war.
If every Labour voter voted Lib Dem, Clegg would have a massive majority.
LIB DEM 2010

@janebusby fuck the LIB DEMS.
clegg has gone back on everything he has said.
he has no integrity whatsoever so that is a good start for any politician.
they all lie just to seize power.
id sooner have adolf hitler ruling britain than any of these monkeys.

I am going to vote for one of the three following parties:
Lib-Dems (to break the parliamentary stronghold between Lab & Con);
UK Independance Party (to minimise immigration & fight against European Union); or
British National Party (to preserve British heritage, and culture against religous extremists).
Let's make both labour and conservative parties EXTINCT

The only reason people vote for nu-labour is due to a fear of a return to Thatcherism which would never happen in the 21 century.
If there aren't any candidates you like, you should with-hold your vote.
