About Last Night - Final Scene in Park

A truly great scene from a totally awesome movie. Maybe one of the best/most accurate depictions among contemporary 'relationship films' ever.

And yes, one of the best 'love story' movie endings ever.

I just saw John Waite in a small show/concert tonight and that's sort of what reminded me of this ending (his song featured in the closing credits etc.).

@recovering16 They could have made it but the problem was that Joan and Bernie were very jealous of both of them. Debbie spent more time with Danny forgetting about Joan who was too co-dependent on their Friendship. Bernie was just a Sexist Pig who may have hated the fact that Danny was being more "sensitive" in terms of a Relationship. I think if their Friends were more supportive and not so resentful, things would have worked out differently.

i wanted to emphasize the part where debbie tells danny she was really happy and his reaction to that becuz its such a powerful moment in the movie...and then to just leave it kinda sad and bittersweet...we all know what happens after that anyway right? ;)

Don't fret, people. The ending (cut out of this clip, for some reason) implies that they do get back together. So all's well that ends well.

what was good about the ending is he ask to have dinner with her and she said yes and then he runs after her as she is leaving on her bike which means they probably get back together...
