  • the fish look Bored as hell !

  • whats that fish at 0:33? the brown one

  • @DecoyRunner are you talking about the pacu? the 3 big grey ones?

  • @zaracki92 nah the smaller brown one it looks like between the blood parrot or red devil and green terror at 1:26

  • @DecoyRunner i think you are talking about the Nimbochromis venustus. The green terror looking one is a Salvini. All the fish were mentioned in the description of the video.

  • @zaracki92 yep i was thanks

  • Cool,I have a 180 in my garage Ima about to bring in the house, gotta get rid of the 125

  • @Slatanicgods I thought about getting a 125 but I could find a 180 for about the same price and with the space I had, why not get the bigger one. My fish are gonna love it :P

  • Blood Parrots are slow growers anyways, you can easily keep a couple in a 55 for at least 2 years the most.

  • dude those pacu r deisel!!!!! check out my 55 gallon cichild tank sometime if you get a chance

  • Soulja shit punk bitch you think your tuff

  • thats what i thought

  • get a bigger tank

  • @dzzyfish and why should i?

  • @zaracki92 ur fish are too big for that tank get a 75

  • @dzzyfish lmao, if you were refering to the pacu, a 75 wont be enough. For all the rest, this tank is fine. btw, the video is almost 2 years old. The pacu was sold a couple weeks after this video.

  • @zaracki92 ok im srry. i didnt see that and i just saw how big the pacus were

  • @dzzyfish ur an idiot for assuming that you sick drunk

  • @souljaboyed1 im 13 i dont get drunk

  • @dzzyfish IM PRETTY SURE U DO U PIECE OF SHIT

  • @souljaboyed1 ok u got me. because u no me more than i do rite

  • @dzzyfish exactly so shut the hell up

  • @souljaboyed1 srry didnt mean to affend anybody

  • @zaracki92 I have a 125gal.I will sale you..

  • @Slatanicgods I'm gathering stuff to setup a 180 gallon. It should be setup within 4-5 months.

  • @dzzyfish leave him alone man, people always bitch, GET A BIGGER TANK... well do you guys wanna pay for it? didnt think so. so quit bitchin.

  • @dzzyfish A 55 is plenty big enough for these fish.

  • cool tank, love the pacu. how old were they in this vid?

  • howd you maintain the color of your cichlid?...my waters fine, but all my cichlids (peacocks) there color fades after like 3 months and they turn to the washed out brown color...there still healthy swimmin happy, but there color fades terribely.

  • wat kinda gravel do you use? u can get cichlid gravel from a petstore and it sometimes helps. wat food do you feed them? try some salwater pellets with spirulina. they color up cichlids very fast.

  • @madpoetic5228 also, check your water chemistry. Peacocks like harder water

  • @madpoetic5228 some times fish colors change due to there situation like if the tank is too small or not the right food type or the water quality like ph level isnt good for them then they change color but if you fix those there color would go back up

  • 2-...0:37.....what is that Cichlid above the Pacus? i like its colors!

  • tht is a nimbochromis venustus, also known as giraffe hap

  • 55 g's! thats what i need! even my ID Shark would have space to avoid the cichlids. as long as there is fin room, they mix ok. the only other option is to seperate them in various tanks as i do out of necessity.

  • Very Nice setup, keep it up.

  • thx :) but i changed it after a couple weeks. thats wen i first got the tank but now i added more plants and sold the pacu

  • thanks alot for the coment. yea im not a big fan of pacu. also i have recently changed it to all brown gravel with lava rock, large stones and drift wood peices.

maybe this summer i will trade in the brown gravel for the sand because i have seen some very brilliant tanks with sand and it does make it look alot more natural looking. thanks again. and good luck with the sand!

  • hmm, nice tank, but pacu never seen to be a good long term choice.

  • yea yea i kno...they get pretty huge....like 3 feet. but this is jus for now i have already talked to an aquarium and they have agreed to take once theyr big

  • that's good, what are you going to get to replace them?

  • i havnt decided yet, sun catfish and black ghost knifes are my most favorites, so maybe a couple of those or maybe some more african cichlids. a pair of firemouth is also on the list. jus have to decide wat to get.

  • I was thinking maybe a lima shovel nose catfish or a Jack Dembsey would look cool in their, even a pair of convicts is cool.

  • i'm not a fan of the jack dempsey or the shovelnose but convicts are cool

  • I'd suggest an arowana, but if you even post a video of one of those in a 55 people will bitch.

  • i dont really mind wat they'd have to say because i kno wat i'm doing but, i personally dont think an arowana wud do gud in a 55 much long. i'd maybe get one once i get a 180 gallon or something like tht.

  • With good reason!

  • @atworkguy i'm not sure abt it. i got the pacu wen i bought the tank . i'm guessing like almost two years? i sold them a while ago too :P
