Ya that is pretty shitty, thats prob the v6 model though. My v6 97 intrepid can run around a 15.6, so yeah id expect that camaro to be alot faster then that.
Talking to me? i meant the challenger. and you need more than 400HP to run faster than 12's, especially as heavy as new cars are with safety and comfort that old cars didnt have.
actually from what i've seen of the production car. its retained a good deal of the concepts good looks. now of course because its an american car its probably gonna be cheaply made. not hating on america, just american car companies.
i work at a chevy dealership... base model starts at 19,000 the more you dream the more money... orders start in April 08 and dealership gets first order in Aug 2008
they do have a manual tranny for the challenger, its a 5-speed, but for the camaro, it is the only model they have for it, but they are working on ss,rs, and z28 models, but for now, its the regular hardtop or convertable
the 2008 dodge charger has a nice exterior and i like what they have under the hood, its ballzy...but the interior work is something they deffinately could have inproved on when u compare the camaro to the challenger, im a mopar guy myself, but im not thrilled with the interior design of it, i think the camaro is going to really kick the challenger off the road with the horsepower, reaction timeing, accerleration, availability, and price wise also.
it may be the concept, but it is the final design that GM is using for the production models, the starting price for a standard V-6 model is $19,995, the more options you choose, the more money you are talking.
well i have a feeling they will keep it ame design but make cheaper models which wont have that preformance. but there will also be an ss and i am excited to see that
yeah my aunts getting one, she wants the ss and she's always been cool about letting me drive her cars when i go down to see the family, only one problem though, she wants an automatic.
it's trying to capture the retro design but with a whole new look. i have impure feeling about this car lol. i could over look everything on the interior, although i do like it. at least they got the shifter right
the concept is more wider than the production version

Read the Specs People! It is supposed to have 427 Hp so that should propel it into the 12's even if it is a bit heavy.

14.9 in the quarter? Only available in automatic at first? It might make a nice new caprice, but it sure as hell is no muscle car.

how much of this car will actually make it to dealerships? based on GMs past record i'd say not much, they will fuck it up somehow, someway.

i agree. and they dont make the challenger in a manual tranny either
NFAwrestler611 4 years ago
if you choose to go for the V-8 convertible model, you are looking at $40,000 without leather interior, again, more options, more money.
JoeTheDude1991 4 years ago
itll be cheaper if its competeing with mustang

I agree with you, but its just a concept, they always go really crazy with concepts then tone them down for production

thats sweet, except for the automatic part, lol. still should be fun, I think their putting the 6 speed automatic, should be pretty good.
